Trump, "Obama May Be Greatest Scam In American History"

quantumushroom says...

Who is crazier:

Those who suspect a man refusing to release a document that would easily end all speculation MIGHT have something to hide,

or

those who still believe a nation can tax and spend itself into stability and prosperity, with the top producers paying the heaviest federal taxes and the "bottom" 50% paying nothing, but slurping up plenty of entitlements.

Non Racist Non Fear Mongering Political Ad - Really. Honest.

quantumushroom says...

Then you must know nearly HALF of all Americans pay NO federal income tax. Hmmm...I notice that same HALF shows no restraint on slurping up entitlements and welfare social services. You're in trouble when the tick is as big as the dog.

Yeah, borrow-n-spend isn't much better than tax-n-spend, but take a step back and note what all this money is being spent on. Hint: it's not "racism".

>> ^bareboards2:

There's the big lie. Tax and spend.
I do taxes for a living. I know how low the taxes are that folks are paying.
Did you know that you can have taxable income of $40,000 and pay zero income tax?
Oh, well, it has to be a long term capital gain -- this doesn't apply to wages or pensions, which is what most people in America have as a source of income.
Zero Percent tax on long term capital gains and qualified dividends in many cases.
Don't tell me we are taxing ourselves to death. It's a lie.
Guess who came up with this brilliant tax strategy? It wasn't a Democrat.

>> ^quantumushroom:
If history is any indicator, there's plenty to fear from these communist thugs posing as a legitimate government. Unfortunately, the worldwide number of people murdered by communism is 100 million, a number so great it's usually reserved for stars or grains of sand.
Anyway, this submission as framed is a bizarre attempt at misdirection, bizarre because those opposed to cutting government spending are going to drown as well.
The actual video concerns obvious truths the left refuses to heed: no government has ever taxed and spent itself into prosperity, we now owe crushing debt to foreign enemies, future generations are already burdened.
As the Chinese Proverb goes: "If we don't change the direction we're going, we're going to end up where we're headed."

Liberalism by any other name...

bobknight33 says...

No To taxing millionaires
No To cut Bush Tax cuts
yes To cut oil Gas and ALL tax breaks
Yes To support Walker- The Americans proudly support what he is doing. Fighting for America. We need a lot more of guys like this.

Is no surprise that MSNBC supports this kind of harmful talk. Jeffrey Immelt, is on his knees slurping up all the OBAMA sauce he can get. The least MSNBC can do.

NetRunner, your too smart to be sucked in by this crap. What gives?

Fox News Asks Cornyn: So Are You For Earmarking Or What?

NetRunner says...

Obviously this clip got slurped up by TPM because of the blatant hypocrisy in asking for earmarks, and then saying you're voting against the bill because it contains earmarks, but there's a subtler point worth highlighting as well.

Look at this exchange:

"But you favor earmarks is what you're saying," Hemmer said.

"I do not," Cornyn insisted. "I think we need an earmark moratorium -- which I voted for -- for two years, until we fix this broken system."

At the risk of overstating it, Cornyn is unwittingly repudiating the foundation of conservative ideology with his argument.

He's saying that individual responsibility, won't keep him from doing (purportedly) unethical things for his own self-interest unless there's government regulation keeping him honest.

In other words, not only is "legislating morality" possible, it's the only way to make sociopaths like him behave properly.

This woman wins WORST PARENT award

Pantalones says...

>> ^Gallowflak:

The fact that there is worse abuse is not an excuse for this brutal and disgusting behaviour.
The fact that she is being excused by people who seem to be intimately familiar with childhood abuse is, at the very least, disturbing and rather eye-opening.
The brutality that the mother is willing to resort to, no less than traumatizing her own child, is revolting. This bitch doesn't need your defence, nor should she have it; we have a word for people who display such malignancy... we call them sociopaths.

I'll go so far as to say this woman is probably reaping what she sowed. A certain amount of bad behavior is learned from bad parenting. But if you think children are raised in a perfect world where they listen to everything you say without question and never act out, and that the solution is rationalizing and giving them a hug then you're living in a dream. Seriously, you were sold some tsunami insurance for property in Colorado and the best part is you don't even know it. What f*cking Rousseau wet dream did you slurp off the floor? I dare you to raise a kid without limits and not call him a sociopath. Pull your head out and try a cold shower with some hot sauce. It's not bad. At the very least it's not worth your judgement. Half the world's population would beg for fresh water and hot sauce on a regular basis, this kid gets it for punishment. This was not trauma. This was a kid wailing because he got caught. What this kid got was discipline and structure. If you can't recognize the difference then God help your kids, because you can't.

But this is all moot. The woman broke no law, left no physical mark, and was within her rights as a parent. That means all willing to cast stones should put their nose someplace else. Gallowflak's "Fuck you" is a nice warm steaming pile to start with.

If you can't see his rank hypocrisy in giving 'the media' a hard time for being divisive and then turning right around to go do the same exact thing on my show then you, sir, are in fetters. Stewart can take his smugness and cram it sideways with walnuts. He does the same crap he's staring down his nose at, and he wants a free pass? I'll let the fanbois, biased cheerleaders, and other zombies slurp that koolaid down. Clown nose off... "Hey - I'm "reasonable...!" Clown nose on... "So now I'm gonna go be unreasonable - haw haw".

All little bitches need to turn off the TV...it's bedtime.

I agree to a point - Jon will hide behind comedy when it serves him, when debating with O'Reilly for example. I wish he wouldn't, he doesn't need to. That being said, I value the message (both funny and serious) he and his show puts forth. Personally, I think the message the we need to chill the fuck out *cough*, see through our differences, and work together is important... and not hypocritical.

P.S. Do I only respond to trolls?

I hate to say it, but *nsfw for the word "blow" and accompanying slurping video. I was thinking I could show my class this as a journal prompt for metaphors but as it stands, no, I can't show a woman going down on a dude.

This is barely more exciting than me working an Excel spreadsheet. You should see the things I can do.

Anyway I presume this is a simulation and not live footage. Surprised they weren't slurping on Starbucks between kills.

I like that the related videos are all CoD Modern Warfare.

Are you allowed to make fun of someone for having a big round head like a pink lump of dough, a hideous moon face, little beady rat eyes (albeit a lovely blue) and train tracks on his teeth which cause a slurping sound when he talks? Also he's ranting and raving and gesticulating into the camera like a lunatic about some perceived persecution?

Thank fucking god Youtube wasn't around when I was young and full of hormones.

Rooting Against America: Nobel Peace Prize Edition

Winstonfield_Pennypacker says...

You Winston, are just a bitter, hypocrite.

Hmm... (slurp) Nope - I'm not bitter. I'm BETTER!

Conservatives and republicans have done REAL damage to this country. And the damage will be felt for years to come.

Everything you blame on 'conservatives' was not done by conservatives. It was done by liberal government interference in the private sector. And yes - the terrible results of these liberal policies (enacted by both Republicans and Democrats) will indeed be felt for years to come. Especially now that Obama is quadrupling down on it.

The sad part is, conservatives and republicans will NEVER take responsibility for their actions.

This isn't a 'Republican' issue. This is a POLITICAL issue. The political class (R or D) for years have taken fiscal conservatism lightly, when in reality the American voter craves fiscal conservatism and not liberal tax & spend policy. Currently Democrats are being far more irresponsible & brusque with voters than Republicans ever were - ignoring all concerns and just ramroding crap through into law. They're on track for a nasty drubbing in 2010. But I see no true conservative party to take their place. Just an equally 'big government loving' Republican party. Sad times for America.

boring as usual, carry on sir

M'eh - that was my initial reaction based on my then false perception the NPP was an accomplishment award. I was clearly mistaken, and have subsequently amended my position to reflect the NPP's true nature as an award for political orientation. Your point?

1. Venezuela is a democracy
2. Hugo Chavez was elected thrice.
3. Your political programming has left you woefully misinformed.
