Republicans explaining why you should NOT vote for Romney
I can't get behind videos like this, because it's a different race.
Every time someone from the right points out something Hillary said about Obama we dismiss it, so why shouldn't things like be dismissed?
It's a shitty argument given the differences between a primary election vs a general election. We have plenty of legitimate things to hammer Romney on.
IMO, Romney didn't really win the GOP nod, he was simply the last one standing. The GOP flirted with EVERY SINGLE ONE of those candidates and gave them their moment in the sun and they were all found wanting. It's like they were trying out every possible option before finally resigning themselves to Romney. I'm discounting Ron Paul because Ron Paul isn't a really a Republican. I think the GOP would sooner forfeit the race than let Ron Paul be the nominee....just ask Maine where there was GOP voter fraud
Understanding the National Debt and Budget Deficit
If you don't believe money exists, then you should have no problem giving me all of your money. I will give you 1000 angels and an invisible unicorn in return. Deal of a lifetime. PM me for my paypal address.
(In all seriousness, you should read up on economics. It sounds like Ron Paul has warped your understanding of economics.) >> ^vaire2ube:
im not watching because as i understand it, the debt only exists if you believe money really exists, and i dont think money as we are told exists really exists... they can put you in debtors prison but cant get blood from a stone... and as i understand it, the fiat currency we accept is totally unbacked by anything other than faith... and thats only good for making "bubbles"
yea i still pay my bills my cabin in the woods isnt built yet, whats your plan!
Penn Jillette: Camera Tricks Are Not Magic

Hmm, you do know that show is scripted right? He doesn't write that stuff, the show has writers, he just acts it out - As well as being a brilliantly minded magician, he's an actor.
>> ^Stormsinger:
I think it was the episode of Bullshit when he displayed his complete "I got mine, fuck the rest of you." attitude...
If it were presented as a work of fiction, rather than a work of fiction-busting, you might have more of a chance of changing my mind. And just like the case of Ron Paul and his newsletter, when it has his name and endorsement on it, he's responsible for the content, no matter who actually writes it.

I don't like Ron Paul's politics but I do like how he throws back the stupidity at Fox.

I like how Ron Paul basically makes her pay for wasting his time by wasting her time with a meandering answer to the SECOND ATTEMPT at dragging him into bullshit.

So, maybe it's not the fault of the news that they ask so many idiotic questions. Maybe it's the fault of the politicians for answering them.
Ron Paul came off looking pretty good with this response.
Hopefully others follow his lead.

That's how the media, left and right, treated him for the entirety of his campaign. Any respect and coverage he got was inversely proportional to his perceived chance of winning.
...And so it goes, each election more absurd than the next until who knows? Maybe some new, "New Deal" after all the cocka-roaches are gone, calling up the depressed Roosevelt-styley to help rebuild the infrastructure? I for one, hope it includes a beautification of the entire United States in the form of razing every strip-center and billboard for starters.
This includes my first act in office, criminalizing inherently evil entities too big for their britches like Walmart and Monsanto, and razing THEIR improvements on real estate assets while demanding the offspring of their CEO's to walk naked with sandwich board signs on a remote mangrove swamp with mock city streets resembling their home-towns, filled with CCTV cameras with a live feed for folks around the world to deride them for all eternity, amen.

As long as I have to stop for Stop Signs and Lights and School Buses and Pedestrians, this is NOT a free country! The founders never intended this! Elect Ron Paul and eliminate this horrible government control!!11!!1!
Blow Back - Unintended Consequences of Foreign Intervention
Uh...the point of the video was that the term "Blow-Back" and what it stands for was NOT made up by Ron Paul. That it is a real thing and that RP was using the term to correctly explain his point of view. The fact that most people watching the debates including the people participating have no idea what blow-back is doesn't do a lot to support your claim that ""Blowback" is a widely known term"...perhaps in certain circles this is true...but not for most people.>> ^dystopianfuturetoday:
Welcome to foreign policy 101.
"Blowback" is a widely known term and concept that goes back decades. Chomsky has written extensively about it since the 70s. Ron Paul did not invent or popularize this term. In fact, Ron Paul is 30 years late to the party, which I guess is pretty good for Ron, considering he is still stuck in the 1800s with regards to economics.
