The effort to analyze the growing influence of the media maximizes the possibilities because of all functional resources involved. The certification methodologies that help us deal with the commitment between the teams, entails a process of reform and modernization information flow. Regardless of, perception of the difficulties can lead us to consider restructuring return expected long term. I would like to emphasize that the clear definition of objectives adds value to the establishment the desired indexes.

Above all, it is essential to point out that the growing influence of the media plays an essential role in shaping the desired indexes. We realized increasingly that an increased dialogue between the different productive sectors provides a better overview technique in the recycling investment.

We realized increasingly that the fair trial of eventualities provides a better overview return expected long term.

Above all, it is essential to point out that the challenging global scenario, ensures the contribution of an important group in determining postures of the governing bodies with regard to its responsibilities. We realized increasingly that an increased dialogue between the different productive sectors provides a better overview the preferred directions towards progress.

However, we must not forget that the consensus on the need for qualification promotes leverage postures of the governing bodies with regard to its responsibilities. All these questions, properly considered, raises doubts about whether an increased dialogue between the different productive sectors hinders the appreciation of the importance of all functional resources involved. The accumulated experience shows that the fair trial of eventualities encourages standardization normative rules of conduct. We can already glimpse the way the growing influence of the media adds value to the establishment the financial and administrative requirements.

"First, CIANA makes it a Federal crime to transport a minor
across state lines to obtain an abortion in another state... "

"Second, CIANA applies when a minor from one state crosses
state lines to have an abortion in another state that does not
have a state law requiring parental involvement in a minor's
abortion decision, or when a minor from one state crosses state
lines to have an abortion in another state that does have a
state law requiring parental involvement in a minor's abortion
decision, but the physician fails to comply with such law. In
such a case, CIANA makes it a Federal crime for the abortion
provider to fail to give one of the minor's parents, or a legal
guardian if necessary, 24 hours' notice (or notice by mail if
necessary) of the minor's abortion decision before the abortion
is performed"

"CIANA contains two sections, each of which creates a new Federal crime subject to up to a $100,000 fine, or 1 year in jail, or both"

Google is a great resource...took me 2 seconds to find. Pretty much exactly what the commercial is about.

Extrapolated from there, when abortions can be outlawed statewide, that ban would be extended to anyone transporting a pregnant woman to another state for an abortion....it tries to force neighboring states to follow your states laws for notifications and wait times, and criminalizes transportation of the pregnant women, it's completely dishonest to imply the same wouldn't go for outright bans.

greatgooglymoogly said:

Please show me the politician who has clearly said they want to criminalize travel with the intent to have an abortion, which is what this ad shows.

It isn't clear if it's to another country or state, which if Roe V Wade was overturned, would have no impact on travel to either.

Smoke From Forest Fire in Oregon Reduces Visibility

newtboy says...

So I'll tell you again, no, and it's not arsonists in Oregon either, antifa or not, maybe a few, but not a statistically significant number. It's lighting and wind and accidents in California and Oregon and Washington. A massive lightning storm hit the west in mid August sparking fires everywhere, and unprecedented dryness and high temperatures has kept those and other fires alive since.
The newest right wing claim is that climate change has nothing to do with the fires, they're all antifa arson. Of course I assumed that's what you were referencing when you erroneously claimed many of the Oregon fires were arson.

Read it this time, the answers are there...

From what I find many seem to be from from arsonist. You live out that way so I ask you.

So I ask again.
Are there many fires from arsonist , like Oregon State?

Smoke From Forest Fire in Oregon Reduces Visibility

newtboy says...

No, Bob. The "antifa is setting wildfires" claim is pure bullshit with zero evidence. I bet Trump is repeating it. The fires in Oregon were started by lightning. Edit: and downed power lines, and dragging trailer chains, ....

The cop who posted that bullshit lie with no evidence whatsoever has been suspended for spreading lies designed to instigate violence.

The fires are started by lightning mostly.

The wildfires are not caused by antifa or spontaneously exploding trees. They are caused by excessive dryness and decades of drought caused by anthropogenic climate change and dry summer thunderstorms that are increasing in number as our climate changes.

One was started by morons doing an explosive baby reveal.....yes, another one.

They are made worse by the criminal mismanagement of federal forest lands, which make up about 57% of the state's forests. Trump likes to blame California government for mismanagement of the forest, but is too ignorant to grasp that California only owns 3% of it's forests, and they're managed far better than the federal lands.

If you watched anything that wasn't pure propaganda, you would know this. Only right wing bat shit crazy propaganda hides those facts and pretends the fires are from liberals....Only fools believe the same people who've lied to them constantly for years.

Star Trek - First Contact (1996) [no money]

WmGn says...

Picard's final statement seems straight out of Hume, who (if second-hand memory serves) felt that, as societies became wealthier, people would spend more of their time in contemplation.

Even so, I can't see getting around at least a unit of account: at some point, Starfleet will have to make a decision about commissioning a new space ship. To do that, they'll need to know what they could be doing with those resources if they didn't build a new ship. Thus, they'll need to know what it would cost them in foregone opportunities. To answer this, it's a convenient to have a single metric.

Pipeline Blasting

An Important Lesson

Digitalfiend says...

Out of curiosity, what is BLM's stance on all the black lives being lost to gun violence in places like Chicago? I see no mention of this serious issue on blacklivesmatter.com or blacklivesmatterchicago.com. Heck, it's not even listed on BLM Chicago's "10 Demands of BLMCHI": https://www.blacklivesmatterchicago.com/10-demands-of-blmchi/

With all of the media attention BLM is getting, funding through donations, and general momentum behind the movement, why not focus on things that might actually make a difference? Instead of pouring energy into removing statues, put that effort into PSAs, social media, etc about how terrible the gun violence is in some of these cities. Try and come up with ideas to address it. Invest those resources into getting to the root of the problems that face these communities. I guarantee statues and police brutality are probably pretty low on the list of *real* issues facing the black community. What about poverty/homelessness, lack of economic opportunity, gang activity/influence on youth, guns, drugs, the challenges of low income single-parent homes, etc. Those seem like more important issues for a well funded organization like BLM to be focused on.

Jack - Michigan - Republican Voters Against Trump

newtboy says...

I'm in love with these Republican created anti Trump commercials.

It should be noted their figures seem to not include the trillions lost through Trump's horrendous pandemic response, which alone has added another > $3.5 TRILLION to the debt this year, and will likely add trillions more before it's said and done.

They indicate an estimated $28 trillion debt if Trump has a second term, but in reality it past $26.3 trillion last week and is all but guaranteed to hit $28 trillion by November, not in 4 years from now but 4 months.

So much for erasing the debt, Trump has exploded it and bankrupt our treasury. Our debt is now more than GDP. Each man, woman, and child now owes $80000. Trump's family has raked in hundreds of millions if not billions selling out America.

Republicans who voted for Trump because he's a financial genius should hand their estates to the state and walk into the sea, pockets full of rocks. This is his MO, sell off resources for personal gain, drive what's left into bankruptcy, pay himself handsomely, claim perfect leadership and genius level business sense, and walk away from the dumpster fire he created...over and over.

Obviously you didn't go to the site, you're taking someone else's word, cutting and pasting without rubbing two brain cells together and repeating the lie of someone who lies to you constantly.

Second; So obviously the actblue charities bullshit you spouted didn't come from where you cite, and is 100% lies you feculent liar....yep, sho nuff.

https://www.factcheck.org/2020/06/donations-to-black-lives-matter-group-dont-go-to-dnc/

Actblue charities doesn't give money donated to Bernie to Warren, just as it doesn't give the money given to BLM to any other charity, campaign, or person. If it's donated to BLM, it goes to BLM. They are a facilitator for progressive candidates and charities, not a fraudulent charity (like the fake charities Trump ran stealing money from veterans, admitted to, and is why his family is banned from running any charities). What you dishonestly claim is like saying because 10 people on eBay used PayPal, you can attribute every penny spent through PayPal to those sellers, or that if you donate to any gofundme it goes to one of 10 projects they chose in secret, not the project you gave to.

So brain numbingly stupid a claim, of course you just bought it the second Inforwars put it out there without a thought.

Again, because I know understanding isn't your strong suit, what you claim is happening when you donate to Black Lives Matter is not happening, but is EXACTLY what Trump did with his charities when he raised money for wounded veterans and pocketed it all, then pleaded guilty and paid $3 million in penalties and was banned from charity work for life. LMFAHS!

Gullible isn't in the dictionary either, Bob. Made you look.
Fuck, you make me so worried for humanity.

The Economics of Nuclear Energy | Real Engineering

newtboy says...

Kinda lost me when he claimed wind creates 11g CO² per kwh with no reference, calculations, or explanation.
Wind energy production is zero emission.
Are they including every gram produced by every step of construction and estimating a short lifespan, but not doing the same for nuclear, which takes exponentially more resources to build, run, fuel, store waste, and dismantle?
I also have a problem with him saying more expensive, higher profit natural gas plants have better prices because they're much HIGHER than nuclear prices per kwh.
He seems to ignore the spent fuel disposal/storage costs, which are significant in both cases, but while the natural gas plants don't pay for their waste (massive amounts of CO² and methane), nuclear has no choice.
Diablo canyon refurbishing was canned after Fukashima, because it's got all the same dangerous issues of being in an active earthquake/tsunami zone right on the coast with no way to shield itself from tsunamis. Before Fukashima, they totally planned to revamp and continue operations.
His levelized cost of electricity slide conveniently ignores the cost of environmental damage caused by fuel production/use.
Include all costs, coal is worst, followed by natural gas, then nuke, hydro, wind, and solar cheapest. Geothermal is great, but only in areas where it can be easily tapped, which are few and far between.

In short, his vast oversimplification and inconsistencies in what's included in his cost basis make his conclusions relatively meaningless, imo.

Mourning in America

newtboy says...

Businesses like Blue Flame? They're the fake company created in late March to take hundreds of millions in deposits for medical products they couldn't produce....ventilators, ppe, etc. They took state's money and utterly failed to secure or ship any of the lifesaving supplies they contracted for and have been sued by multiple states for the cash back, but no one can get back the lives they ended by not supplying the medical supplies or by wasting states time and resources relying on them.
One guess who started this fake supply company....Republican lobbyists and fundraisers who quit their jobs in March to start this deadly con.....a con Trump facilitated by refusing to take federal control over the supply lines and instead telling states to fend for themselves with zero federal oversight, pitting them against each other AND the federal government who often seized scarce medical supplies found by the states, only to hand them off to middlemen who then resold them to the states again (and likely tipped off the feds so they could seize more supplies). That's a recipe for cons like this....as a repeatedly convicted con man himself (fraudulent school con, fraudulent charity con just to name two convictions for fraud from the last 4 years), Trump was well aware that's the case.
