Muslim Cleric Makes Sense

mxxcon says...

this guy reminds me of MLK from The Boondocks" Return of the King episode:

Martin Luther King:
Is this it?
This is what I got all those ass-whoopings for?
I had a dream once.
It was a dream that little black boys and little black girls would drink from the river of prosperity, freed from the thirst of oppression.
But lo and behold, some four decades later, what have I found but a bunch of trifling, shiftless, good-for-nothing niggers?
And I know some of you don't want to hear me say that word.
It's the ugliest word in the English language, but that's what I see now: niggers.
And you don't want to be a nigger, 'cause niggers are living contradictions!
Niggers are full of unfulfilled ambitions!
Niggers wax and wane, niggers love to complain!
Niggers love to hear themselves talk but hate to explain!
Niggers love being another man's judge and jury!
Niggers procrastinate until it's time to worry!
Niggers love to be late, niggers hate to hurry!
Black Entertainment Television is the worst thing I've ever seen in my life!
Usher, "Michael Jackson" is *not* a genre of music!
And now I'd like to talk about "Soul Plane".
I've seen what's around the corner, I've seen what's over the horizon, and I promise you, you niggers won't have nothing to celebrate.
And no, I won't get there with you.
I'm going to Canada.

That's good info. Thanks for letting me know. With the last change I made it will last a bit longer.

Recommendations are completely a separate thing, which is good. Videos that just get popular shouldn't have any bearing on what you might like to watch, so recommendations are solely based on what people with the most similar interests have been voting on.

Thanks a lot!

Lucky,
I did the invocation around 4pm local yesterday; I checked VS at maybe 9pm or so & didn't see that vid on the front page. I didn't dig deeper looking for it; I simply wanted to see if it was still super-prominently placed.

Do vids that get *quality have a higher chance of ending up on a Recommended page, or are they entirely separate things?

Again - great job on all this. Keep it up - we rabble truly appreciate it.

Hi SP-

Just wondering if you happened to notice how long the video stayed high up in the hotness listing.

I made another adjustment to make sure they'll stay even longer.

Yup - seems to have made a significant change to this one about doing stuff; top of the Hotness listing.

Will be interested to see how long it floats for....

the HUNGER-lakme- les liens en fleurs(the flower duet)

I do agree with much of what you say...even though if I were asked straight up, I'd say I don't really care much for opera, this is one beautiful song. And it does fit exceptionally well with the footage, or maybe moreso the idea behind the footage.

It's rather a nice coincidence, I was just thinking a couple weeks back that I should get The Hunger from Netflix. I haven't seen it since it was new, and as I remember, even though (or maybe because) we were all excited about the film (Sarandon and Bowie!), I was rather unimpressed with it after seeing it. I've been wondering if my opinion of it would be different after all this time. I guess it's time to stop procrastinating and add it to my queue.

The way she was rambling, I half expected Dr. Zoidberg to be in the first row, casually asking when the mating will begin.

But then I remembered that I was supposed to read something myself and procrastination caught up with me as well. VideoSift, a refuge from work to be done. Even bash.org found its way into a tab again, no escape from that one. Might as well call it a night and get pissed instead.

Finally - Proof that Obama is the AntiChrist!

enoch says...

ugh...
this person already feels that obama is the anti-christ.if i used this very poorly though out premise i could prove THIS man was the anti-christ.and to end it with that disclaimer../shakes head...thats like saying something dissrespectful to someone by prefacing "in all due respect" im gonna say something really shitty, but i mean no dissrespect.
i have posted before, but let me do so again for the sake of being thorough:
/takes a big breath...
satan does not exist.
the original bible was translated,as the video states, from aramaic to greek.
the sepaquintic translations fail many times(to the tune of around 22,000).
the hebrew word s'tn :meaning "diabolic=devil" as a noun and "adversary, adversarial" as an adjective.
so s'tn became satan,it was the church that used this as a rallying point.it has nothing to do with actual scriptural text.
so if satan doesnt exist that means???
yes,hell doesnt exist.
original sin was created by the church, not by jesus.
secondly, and this is just for fun.
there was a large community around the period of jesus that believed that prophecy had already happened.that the coming, ministry and resurection WAS the final judhement prophesized not by the book of john(hadnt been written yet) but by the more ancient hebrew texts concerning the messiah.
they were preterists.
thirdly,because i cant resist.
the book of john was a last minute addition to the bible.yes yes..it seems divine providence is a huge procrastinator around 325 a.d. just after the council of nicea.
the book of john was chosen over "the revelation of paul" due to its graphic imagery and imaginative span.which was most likely due to the fact that john was a strict sophian gnostic and practiced shamanism by ingesting magic mushrooms(this is only specualtion, but i find it hilarious)hence the more skillfully written prophecy of paul was beaten by a zealot who loved psychadelics.my point is that no gospel in the bible references jesus speaking about the book of john, though many christians are led to believe otherwise.
thank you for playing, dont forget to tip your bartenders.
good night.

Procrastination

EndAll says...

Procrastination is an epidemic, on a global scale..

It's saying "we'll fix these problems tomorrow"

and then saying that the next day. and the next. and the next. and the next.

And here we are! The shit about to hit the fan, and still we go on...

Tomorrow, tomorrow, we'll get that done tomorrow.
