Who is Fi Duong, Bob?

I'll tell you, he's one of the many Trumpsters who was stupid enough to actually post his plans to attack the capitol for Trump dressed as an Antifa member (not a real thing, Antifa isn't an organization with members) before the attack on democracy, then followed through, dressed in all black with a white plastic/ceramic face mask (but not Guy Fawkes) to attack American democracy.
One of dozens of right wing false flag fakers caught by the FBI so far....but not a single Antifa or blm activist arrested for Jan 6.
He admitted to undercover agents that a month after the failed coup he returned to the capitol to perform "surveillance efforts" in preparation for another attempted coup for Trump.

Another of your carefully planned false flag exercises has fallen apart because your ilk are too dumb to not brag about committing them, in writing....just like the proud boys and boogaloo boys from last summer caught committing murders and trying to blame them on BLM, insanely carrying their manifesto that outlined that plan.

Derp de do...the traitor is you!

Nice performance but I can't believe the camera guys couldn't get a full frontal close up of the SINGERS FACE! Nice side view close up but that doesn't show full expressions well. Camera guys dropped the ball on that one. Makes her seem secondary to the orchestra.

Sorry, I forgot facts are just for liberals.
Snopes isn't perfect but they're head and shoulders and chest and waist and knees and ankles and feet above ANY source you've provided over the years, you are often directly quoting Russian propaganda. They are also far from the only fact checker that says the same thing, along with dozens of articles throughout his career with the exact same story, and books written about it for decades, and even recent awards from the stuttering community/organizations...but you know better because why? Did Alex Jones say so? Glen Beck? Diaper Don?
Here's a few dozen reports, some from right wing media, about Biden's stutter....I'm sure you won't or can't read them. Easy to find, just Google Biden's speech impediment....but I saved you the trouble of spelling it....
http://www.google.com/search?q=History+of+Biden%27s+speech+impediment.&source=hp&oq=History+of+Biden%27s+speech+impediment.&gs_l=mobile-heirloom-hp.3.
..3514.18619.0.19028.31.28.0.3.3.0.256.4264.0j24j4.28.0....0...1c.1j4.34.mobile-heirloom-hp..12.19.2638.G_u9HmUbuck

Being able to overcome it at times doesn't mean it doesn't exist....if it does then his exemplary performance and coherent speeches since taking office proves you wrong 100+ times over....but your guy thinks you should inject bleach to fight a virus he says is a hoax, you believe in Jewish space lasers, Italian vote changing satellites, and age defying magic from cannibalism. Who's too old and feeble minded? I think we know the answer, Jethro. Where did you get your degree in diagnosing cognitive decline? You need to sue them, you learned nothing.
He's said clearly for decades that, like many, his stutter gets much worse when he's tired and under stress. That's totally normal with stuttering.

Trump, on the other hand, has no such excuse for his inability to speak or write in complete thoughts or sentences or even English words...covfefe! Oranges of the investigation. Oranges. Oranges. Mumerca!

Biden is clearly not too old to kick diaper Donny's ass without breaking a sweat, and is in excellent shape for his age, you can't say that about obese Trump. He is older than I would prefer, that's different from being too old to hold office....isn't he younger than Trump would be in 4 years? So if Biden is too old now, Trump was too old to elect. Do you know that's what you're saying?

bobknight33 said:

You using Snopes as a fact checker is rich.

Claim
U.S. President Joe Biden has a speech impediment.

False. No speech impediment just too old.

No speech impediment in 1993. 12 minutes of pure coherent speech .
Maybe as a kid but not by 1993.
2021 Must be to old feeble to speak with out bumbling/ stumbling.

Just admit Biden is too old to be POTUS. Grandpa Joe will be gone soon and the unpopular VP will take over. Yet a bigger joke.

Now we know it was not just Democratic senators Trump had investigated to try to blackmail them, but multiple reporters were tapped to try to find their sources for embarrassing articles they published about Trump, and even "tapping" the phones and computers of his own council, who he had directed to lie to congress, in order to keep tabs on what he was really telling people about Trump's criminal activities.

The excuse they came up with was trying to find "leakers" who gave the press embarrassing facts about the administration....not even a crime. Better, what they found was nothing. No evidence against the democrats they were secretly surveilling or their families or employees or their families had done anything illegal.

Of course, Sessions and Barr deny any knowledge of these dozens of personal secret investigations their department was performing at Trump's direction, which is absolutely asinine. These liars knew from day one and had to personally authorize all these illegal fishing trip investigations of Trump's enemies list and their friends, families, and co workers at Trump's order.

"They tapped my phone! They tapped my phone! This is just like Watergate!" Insisting that anyone involved should be in prison long term. All bullshit. Trump's phones weren't tapped, only payments coming from Russia's government were being looked at as part of an investigation of Russian election interference. Tellingly, this outraged and terrified Trump.
This Trump enemies list investigation, however, was a purely personal vendetta by the president abusing the power of government agencies to embarrass and influence his political rivals by directly investigating them over non crimes in a fishing expedition that extended to family and co-workers looking for dirt, not crimes, and not as part of any legitimate investigation. Anyone involved should go to prison long term. Just one more criminal case for Trump to defend against. He'll be dead long before he's done defending himself against serious charges...let's hope his family was involved personally so maybe some of the criminals won't escape responsibility.

newtboy said:

Remember how outraged Trump was that "Obama tapped my phone!", which was actually not true, but he never stopped claiming it happened and that Obama himself should go to prison for it?

Well, no surprise, like everything Trump gets outraged over, he was actually directing his heads of the DOJ to secretly tap Democratic senators phones and computers....

"The Justice Department in 2018 secretly subpoenaed Apple for the data of two Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee, Rep. Adam B. Schiff (Calif.) and Rep. Eric Swalwell (Calif.), as well as the data of their current and former staffers and family members." This included minor family members.

This was a pure political fishing trip, hunting for something to accuse the senators of to bring up before the midterm election.

Once again, Trump is guilty of what he complains about. It's so consistent that it's a great indicator that he personally defrauded the election because he keeps claiming others did....and what do you know, all evidence of fraud found was Republican frauds, all designed to help diaper Don, the biggest loser....your hero.

Why is that even a question?

bcglorf says...

The problem is, it's complicated.

First off, is the legacy of historical damage still scarring aboriginal communities in Canada.

Even disregarding that complexity though, current structure of governance in Canada makes the problem harder to identify and resolve.

Singh's return question is what would you do if Toronto faced the same problem? The answer is the federal government would by and large do nothing, because water supply is a municipal responsibility and the Mayor and city council of Toronto are responsible for fixing it, and thus federal funds don't go in and instead municipal tax money is used to keep the water supply going. Across Canada that model is working pretty decently, by and large.

The real question then is why are reserves having a harder time? Well, afore mentioned historical trauma aside, reserves represent small communities directly comparable in size and make up as municipal communities. However, the reserves are NOT managed like municipalities. Instead Canada still has a two tiered system of governance, one for reserves and another for municipalities.

In term so governance municipalities report to the provinces and the provinces report to the federal government. Reserves report directly to the federal government.

The affects everything related to governance and is responsible for a host of confusion and difficulty.

Services: Education and Health are provincially funded, and so the federal government transfer money to the provinces and tells them to figure out education and health services. Municipalities then just get those services. Reserves however sit outside that, and get entirely different intermediaries.

Taxation and funding: municipal, provincial and federal governments all gather taxes and distribute funds up and down. Reserves only deal with funding though directly to the feds, again cutting out the provincial intermediary.

Both of the above mean making an apples to apples comparison of communities to try and ensure both are treated 'equally' is impossible. It also means that solutions that work on one side don't in the other.

It's a big mess, and just throwing money at the system and saying that will fix it is just wrong. Not only that, it's been TRIED and failed. The above mentioned differences also apply to rules surrounding transparency, accountability and fraud prevention. Meaning there are a great many more loopholes available on the reserve funding side for anyone involved or attached to providing services(be that council members on reserve, or any number of external entities hired in good faith to perform services). That in turn means the amount of money lost to direct and indirect corruption is harder to find/stop.

So fix all that is the next obvious response. The problem is still complex though because when does 'fixing' becoming simply white folks making aboriginals do things the 'right(white) way that was already the source of lingering historical damage I didn't even consider yet...

It's a hard problem to solve and Singh's just trying to score cheap political points peddling easy and false answers to a complex problem.

Let's see now, you messaged me repeatedly in a short time frame then with no mind that there was no realistic way that I would know such, precipitously instabanned a member empowered to confer this particular invocation and that action based not upon failure to adhere to prescribed policy but on your own arbitrary basis.

Either you have not read, or having done so and fail at retention, or feel specially empowered to perform invocations above your station. In any case you have exceeded your bounds.

Please, will someone levy the same upon this member rightfully until admin(s) may rectify the matter.

I remember this to be a serious infraction.

Fortunately, I don't lack respect for fellow sifters and their comments and conversations.

Had I been someone new to VS and wanted to check out the comment section I would have disregarded joining the site simply because of the appearance of an attention whore poster.

I did try to get your attention as a friend to ask you to maybe limit how many "dead" posts you make at once so as to not push recent comments and conversations into oblivion.

When you didn't respond I assumed you were not interested and just continued on.

This isn't so much about the rules as it is about respecting fellow sifters.

I hope you and I can stand on common ground.

Welcome to the Internet

Radiohead's "Videotape" is weird and amazing

“The Reset” | 5G Built For Gamers | Verizon

fuzzyundies says...

20+ year professional game dev here. This commercial conflates a mix of common game client bugs (eg: texture streaming errors, physics glitches, and animation attachment offsets) with straight up nonsense (upper half of coffee mug popping in with a phone over and over is caused by a slow network connection?). They never show any actual network performance problems that they, as a company, have been responsible for causing in real life.

It's as if a city council came out with electrified upgrades to their formerly-diesel city buses and to promote this fact, they cut an ad showing:

- monkeys driving the bus
- constant gunfights between the elderly
- piles of feces on the floor
- bus stops existing in a quantum superposition of clearly identified and invisible
- tribal warriors on the roof spitting blowdarts at passersby
- every seat is actually a block of super-chilled ice

Never once would they point out reduction in chronic asthma to the local schoolkids or lung cancer in their bus drivers. But hey, so long as the company looks good, who cares about accuracy in ads?

More on those pesky vaccine passports among other things

StukaFox says...

You don't want a vaccine? Lovely. We will be canceling your health insurance. Since you've chosen to be a complete cunt, we've chosen not to pay for your utter cuntiness.

I work in health insurance. The three biggest contributors to the price of insurance are:
1: fraud (doctors are notorious for this)
2: general waste (upbilling; unnecessary tests that are only performed to keep the fucking ambulance-chasing lawyers from filing malpractice suits because someone got the shits from an antibiotic)
3: PREVENTABLE HEALTH ISSUES. This includes obesity, smoking, not exercising, not getting annual checkups and atrocious dietary habits as first-order issues. If not corrected, these lead to more expensive and longer term second-order issues: diabetes, heart disease, cancer, vascular disease. These issues start a feedback loop with the second-order effects cause immobility which contributes to increasing first-order effects which amplifies second-order effects -- lather, rinse, repeat.

Now add a good case of Covid to that mix. If you end up on a ventilator for two week, there's a mil-plus in hospital bills: someone has to either pay that (welcome higher insurance rates!) or the hospital has to eat it (welcome even HIGHER insurance rates!) You can bitch all you want about the cost of healthcare in America, but you're paying for every dumb, entitled asshole who spouts shit like MUH FREEDUMS!! when asked to do basic things to protect themselves and others.

tl;dr: your idiot views of what the actual fuck "freedom" is ends at my wallet. Fuck you and get your goddamn vaccine. And put down the Cheetos while you're at it.

this mask isnt for stopping the spread of infection. its for training in low oxygen environments or at altitude, so you perform better when surrounded by more oxygen.

newtboy said:

unfortunately they all have front mounted discharge valves, allowing spit and phlegm to spray out at face level when you breath hard, cough, or sneeze, almost like there's no mask at all. These masks are useless to stop the spread and should be labeled clearly indicating that. It's similar to the idiots who wear mesh masks pretend they're functional.
For a mask to work against covid spreading, it must filter exhalation of all droplets, those with exhaust ports do nothing.

Biden, Illegals, detained, fail.

ROTFLMAHS!!!

If you died and God was standing before you bathed in peace inducing angelic light performing miracles, but wasn't orange with a disheveled long hair squirrel on his head, you would deny his divinity and call him a liberal tool.

You are correct, if someone calling themselves God stands in front of me with what appears to be *I'm dead relatives I would assume either 1) I had gone bat shit insane or 2) some alien intelligence was trying to trick me into the matrix. The only time a being claiming to be God might have any credibility is after I'm dead, and even then I would be suspicious, maybe they just made me think I died.
The supernatural isn't real. There is no magic. Ghosts don't exist. Demons and angles aren't real. Neither is the Easter bunny, Santa Claus, manbearpig, nor the great pumpkin.
Any true God would know this, and know I don't believe in infantile fantasy, it would have intentionally made me that way. If unquestioning belief in the unbelievable is what it requires, it needs to put it in me.

Oh Bobby. What did I say that's untrue? I researched, did you? I didn't just repost another unverified political smear from a 100% untrustworthy source, did you? I offered facts you can verify, did you? Seems not, since you didn't even know this is a Trump administration creation, not Biden.

🤦‍♂️

It seems one of us does have difficulty with truth, fact, and reason. I'll gladly put it to a public vote which one, I'm certain enough of the outcome. After all, only one of us believes project veritas....nuff said.

*get it?

Wow, the lack of self awareness is unbelievable.
