Edit: now, at Trump’s direction, armed Trumpsters have forced their way into the capitol building and procedures have been halted. For some reason, the capitol police never fired a shot in defense of congress. Bomb threats are prolific. Every person identified as part of this attack should get the firing squad as treasonous traitors and terrorists. Violently perpetrating an armed takeover of congress cannot be accurately described in any other way.

If i couldn't ever see things from the "other side", my discussions wouldn't be even middle school level (thanks for the compliment btw). It's because I try to see your side, then investigate the facts involved, that I can debunk it consistently.

When a 30 second google always debunks the same side of every argument, it's only rational to be extra suspicious of any statements that side makes, don't you think? At this point in time, I have recovered approximately 20 covid bodies since they started falling. So far no problems due to following guidelines from experts.

First, let me tell you I respect you and what you are doing. I also see that your efforts with bob are tearing you down. When you start writing in all caps it tells me you are trying to yell through a brick wall. Funny thing about walls though. Sometimes it's hard to know if you are on the inside or outside.

Have faith that one day bob will be touched by reality when someone he loves is taken away. Then your words may be heard for the first time with him. That is when he may realize for the first time your efforts were to protect him and others. You won't need to tell him "I told you so". He will remember.

in your scenario, the person being arrested ends up living. so he goes to jail, alive. you get arrested for assaulting an officer and obstructing justice and now have to prove the person would have died if you had not intervened. that's a steep uphill battle but i would be on your side.
