How unsurprising.

Yes. Martin's nickname was 'Slim'.

And Martin was only 100 feet from his father's house down the pathway between houses where he was killed by Zimmerman.

And Martin was on the phone with his girlfriend telling her he was scared that he was being chased by some strange man. And she told him to run home.

And the initial confrontation of Martin by Zimmerman was overheard by the girlfriend who heard Zimmerman demanding to know what Martin was doing.

Every new piece of evidence continues to paint Zimmerman as a liar:

"Zimmerman said he had stepped out of his truck to check the name of the street he was on when Trayvon attacked him from behind as he walked back to his truck, police said. He said he feared for his life and fired the semiautomatic handgun he was licensed to carry because he feared for his life."

There are no street signs at the spot where Zimmerman killed Martin - it's a pedestrian walkway between the backs of houses that leads to Martin's father's house

There are no signs of grave injury to Zimmerman like he claimed or any hospital trip

There are only three streets in the entire gated community. Zimmerman didn't need to get out of SUV to check which street he was on

He didn't get 'attacked' by Martin - the girlfriend heard Zimmerman approaching Martin demanding to know what he was doing

Zimmerman expects people to believe that this 17 year kid racing home to his father's house at night in the rain while being stalked by a 250 lb unknown adult armed with a handgun suddenly turned around and attacked Zimmerman savagely enough for the nutcase to shoot Martin and leave no obvious signs of serious injury on Zimmerman's body.

I come from a country where only bad guys and cops carry guns, so I don't really understand where's the controversy here. on one side there's a kid, minding his own business, and on the other some nutcase with a gun stalking him. the kid ends up dead. how can anyone come to the conclusion this was NOT Zimmerman's fault?

Okay I'm not saying Zimmerman is Mexican but he damn sure ain't white not by his mug shot. That's the only thing bugging me about this case is everyone calling him white, granted the dude is a piece of shit nutcase but he's the darkest "white" guy I've ever seen.

For me I'd consider running and calling 911 while on the road saying I didn't feel safe with this nutcase pulling me over and would gladly go into custody with a sane person arresting me.

Clearly the guy is a deluded nutjob, but firing him simply for not wearing a sticker on one day? seems excessive and stupid, even if his reason wasnt good. I mean, it just seems ridiculuosly square of them. Let him have his one sticker-free day, and then he can wear it the next day. It would have been different if this was an ongoing problem.

I'm willing to bet there are some underlying reasons like he was a generally annoying religious nutcase, and the sticker-incident was an opportunity to get rid of the guy.

What annoys me most about this video is the "expert" brought in who insist that it was a "bonefied religious belief" and "not a superstition"... Huh?

I notice something about the two videos and both the "oorah" brigade and the "police are assholes" brigade;

In this video, the policeman has no real view on the lunatic, he approaches him whilst he's sat in his car (he could have a fucking bazooka in there and he wouldn't know), he seems very relaxed as though he hasn't got a hint of guard up and even after attempted shot goes wrong he seems utterly surprised and almost as though he doesn't believe it's happening until he finally reacts. The policeman has no real alternative but to shoot at the guy because the guy's a clear and huge danger to everyone. And perhaps he always was a nutcase, but perhaps if the officer would have been more cautious no shot would have been fired and the nutcase would have ended up where he belongs.

In the other video, the man voluntarily gets out of his car and walks around, he takes his hands out of his pockets. The policeman is clearly expecting danger (perhaps a bit TOO much if you ask me), he's issuing clear commands and appears to be going to great lengths to minimise the risk to himself (and not necessarily others). Personally, i know there are solutions which are used by british police at times which involve letting a person *who is clearly acting outside the law due specifically to police pressure* escape (or think they've escaped) only to turn up later at their house and take them safely and calmly for everyone involved; i would have preferred such a solution but i don't know if it's feasible in that part of america.

Why must the nutjobs AND anti-police people live at the extremes? We don't have to have one or the other, we can have a nice mixture of safety and respect for both the officer AND the individual. BOTH videos are examples, imo, of it being done wrong by the officer. And i don't mean job-regulations wrong, i mean basic common sense/common decency wrong. You know, that thing everyone stopped having around 1970.

Look. What you said is paramount to saying all Mexicans are lazy, or all black guys have big dicks. It's ignorant to make such broad sweeping statements. Not that I subscribe to Alex Jones or what he's saying in this video. I also agree he's a nutcase.
