I mean we've been scared of Chile, and the Nicaraguan army which was "Two days from Harlequin Texas." We've been turned into blood thirsty nutcases over wars we had no business fighting.

Hell we attacked Vietnam to protect ourselves from and I quote "internal aggression". You see the Vietnamese were being aggressive towards the US, inside Vietnam. It's amazing how the propaganda system works, reading about it is frightening.

I was tipping around the issue, but flat out, I think this guy is capitalizing on fear and cashing in the checks. I am not saying he doesn't know his shit - I think he def does and is a genuine bad ass - but that doesn't mean these are good tactics, it means he gets paid more for teaching you this garbage than a 2 min lesson that says lock the door and turn off the lights if you are unarmed.

Having an instructor give you straight talk - like you need to grab his gun while forcibly stabbing his face/eyes and with your pen puts people out of their comfort zone and doesn't sell as well to corporations. These feel good vids like this one do sell well and give people a sense of security that is misplaced.

The thing I heard was it took like 60 days for him to get tons of guns and 6,000 rounds of ammo. Look I'm not a big anti gun guy but it seems like if someone can do this, suddenly and call it a basic right there's something a bit wrong with that system. Looking at the system in a reasonable way when results like the ones even despite this one are occurring is a smart way to go about it.

Instead, I turn on any news channel and it's the most extreme people who want to ban all guns to the others who are now buying guns and ammo like crazy worried that they'll have to give them up. This is not a very intelligent way to have a conversation.

Speaking of this I'm going to see Batman tonight with a few of my friends, a couple of whom loves guns and has almost 25 of them. He's always been responsible and reasonable, I've barely even seen a gun of his when I go to his house to visit. I'll bring this up with him and I know he won't react like a nutcase waving the 2nd Amendment in my face. I cannot believe that we are the only two rational people on different sides of an issue.

Why did he say "civilian life". Is he ex- military or something? I looked arond on the web , I dont see the usual in depth backround on this guy. Normally when a nutcase goes "BigTime" , I'll hear all about his past, eveything, hometown, high school, grad year , collage, work history. Did I just miss the background info on this one. Noramally my google power is above average. Was this guy a Vet or have a history of mental illness( was he on prescribed drugs????).
