If you watch the rider's head, it stays almost dead centre of the loop. So I don't think there would be any motion sickness at all.

the fact that facebook bought the company is what will give them enough funds to actually manufacture their own parts, as they need them to be, and not buy cellphone displays (and, I'm sure other off-the-shelf parts). It will actually help them make a better product.

The cables are needed, because of lag. A wireless device woulnd't be able to have input and movement lag as low as they are trying to make it be. And it is a very important point, because of motion sickness.

Well, she says motion sickness is tied to puking up bad things we eat, well, women were the ones doing most of the picking up and tasting back in ancient times.

Why is a passenger more susceptible than the driver?

The driver is focused outside. They "become" the car. Every jiggle of the wheel, every push of a pedal, the car becomes an extension of the body.

I have this motion sickness when I try to read, watch, etc. in a moving vehicle. I have to close my eyes (sleep is even better if possible and faster). I hate commuting.

That's called Loopyball, a regular fixture during halftime of Bundesliga matches and a common sight on mixed-sports events all over the country.

Not recommended if you are susceptible to motion sickness though.
