"Clair de Lune" - deleted scene from Disney's 'Fantasia'

thepinky says...

Wow. I was about to say that I understood why Disney deleted this scene, because the animation didn't come close to doing this song justice, but then the video got to the whole ripples distorting moonlight part and I was hooked. This is very beautiful.

Yep, this song is awesome. My brother had tons of record of him. This song is one of my favorite. Crystal Gazing is awesome too and of course Moonlight Shadow, To France and Shadow On The Wall.

The Great VideoSift Coming -Out Thread (Happy Talk Post)

I'm happy to see you finally came out of the gun cabinet, there, gunner. We all had our suspicions.

I'm Heaficus Coillcumhann Weorthmerlow Esquire the Third, but everyone just calls me Harasshole... or Heath. To make money, I work as a freelance Flash Developer. I live in Los Angeles, right now, but I'm originally from a little speck on the map called Graham, North Carolina. I just finished a film, which some of you already know about, and I'm currently showing it around trying to get some buzz behind it. I hope to someday move to Wilmington, NC and get out of LA.

I speak eighty different languages; twenty three of them dead. I have a Guiness World Record for most jumps on a pogo stick: current record is 56,381 jumps. I invented Gobots and Al Gore, so that kind of makes me the original creator of the internets, don't it? I also invented Life cereal. You're welcome. Rottenseed is my sock puppet. I buy batteries in bulk. Let's see, what else? Oh! The answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything is NOT 42. That's preposterous. It's 42.3728. Use this knowledge gingerly and sparingly.

And, lastly, when gwiz665 is around at night, I tend to dance with the devil in the pale moonlight. Just saying.

Request for Feedback About an Idea I Have (Blog Entry by lucky760)

blankfist says...

Are you moonlighting, Lucky? Tsk-tsk. I dig the idea, Lucky. I'm surprised you aired it in the open like this. I think this is different than the boxbe service Dag linked to above, because the boxbe gives you a temporary email addy that just forwards everything to your real address. I kind of like the idea of not having to log into the "proxy.com": once you create a "proxy.com" account, it's done. Nothing else to do at the site. Makes me wonder how you'd monetize it that way, though.

It would be cool if you could synch it with your email address book, too. I know when I signed up for facebook, it read through my hotmail addresses and added them to my facebook profile page. It even added dag, though he never accepted my friend request. Still, I think syncing with the address book would be great.

<rant> Fuck the gym. They are filthy, germ filled, full of negative attitude, expensive and above all boring. Take a walk in the sunlight (or moonlight). Ride a bike. Have vigorous sex. I wasn't able to get myself in shape until I figured this out. </rant>

this guy has a really good voice. He also does some moonlighting in videogames. Final Fantasy 7: Dirge of Cerberus as Genesis. Apparantly he also appears in FF: Crisis Core as the same character.

Concerning apostrophes with words ending in S, I know this one by heart because my first name is Ross. "Ross's books", while technically correct, looks silly and so the S can be safely dropped since it is understood. So, I totally agree with Oxy.

FYI, I moonlight as a script supervisor on films so I'm cursed with an eye to notice the things nobody else does... if there's a typo in a magazine article, I'll likely spot it. It's no surprise, then, I was offered a job to do quality assurance for a web site; it uses much of the same skillsets.

What do you want or what are you giving for Christmas? Gift Ideas Accepted Here (Blog Entry by lucky760)

gorgonheap says...

Well being a G.I. Joe fan I want the 25th Anniversary collection. A new electric shaver. And a xbox 360 would be nice but I'm not holding out for it. (My original xbox is being stupid, and no it's not the operators fault.)

For the Wife I got her a new watch, A bathrobe, and a generous gift card to her favorite shoe store. I also bought her the moonlight book series. She wouldn't tell me anything else.

Both our parents are getting Family photo's of us (because they don't want us to be poor they asked us not to give them anything.) But this is a fairly cheep gift and it's at least something.

As for siblings, they aren't sparing a dime on us so we're holding off any gifting exchanges until I'm done with school and making more then a paupers living.
