Mike Oldfield (Of 'Tubular Bells' fame) with one of my favorites: his 1982 song 'Five Miles Out' with the angel-voiced Maggie Reilly.

Lyrics are written about Mike's experience of near-tragic flight. Reilly sings with clean voice while Oldfield uses vocoder most of time himself.
