Where's marbles to arc up about vaccines then?

When you've got liberals quoting Rush Limbaugh as the authority, then you know something is seriously fucked up.

OR, if everyone INCLUDING Limbaugh admits that there is ZERO evidence for the claims then you know the claims are utter bullshit.

Ok pal. Gardasil contains aluminum, polysorbate 80 and sodium borate.

aluminum: Toxic. Linked to Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. Can cause memory loss and speech problems. Linked to a wide variety of other health problems. Side effects and severe allergic reactions include rash, hives, itching, difficulty breathing, tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue, loss of appetite, muscle weakness, nausea, slow reflexes, and vomiting.

polysorbate 80: Carcinogenic as well as mutagenic. When injected into prepubescent rats, it caused abnormal growth of reproductive organs and made the rats sterile. When used intravenously with vitamins it has been known to cause anaphylactic shock.

sodium borate: Roach pesticide, i.e. poison. Listed side effects include: vomiting, collapse, coma, convulsions, low blood pressure and twitching of facial muscles, arms, hands, legs, and feet.

Lucky Montana Cop Escapes Death

hpqp says...

@dannym3141

Yes, it would be nice for people to have common sense, and when I say "people", that's civvies and cops alike. The guy in the other vid shows no respect for authority, has baggy clothes that could conceal any number of weapons, and repeatedly disobeys the order of the man holding the gun. That kind of irrational behaviour would trigger all my alarms if I were a cop. My guess is that person either has some sort of mental disorder or was just really stupid.

As for the cop in this video, that's probably the last time he's this easygoing on a routine pullover. Heck, maybe the cop in the vid I linked above had a similar experience, thus his jumpiness, who knows.

The Nazi's called Jewish people rats, the Hutu called the Tutsi cockroaches (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rwandan_Genocide); and the wingnuts called anyone who disagreed with spending trillions to invade and occupy a country, which did not attack us, un-american and un-patriotic.
This guys not too bright, but calling people vermin crosses a line.
What's your definition of vermin? Anyone you dislike?

I notice you didn't answer my question. I believe that the Hutu and Tutsi belong to the same race. I said nothing about racism, yet you came back with a, "Wah, He called me a racist" defense. Typical wing-nut deflection.

A Mental Disorder is definitely on display here. I leave to the readers to determine whose mentality is more disordered.

Children Full of Life: Amazing approach to teaching

westy says...

just going buy the video ( because its hard to tell the full reality of the situation just by 40 min of clips and a nurator.)

2 years of this sort of teaching is more valuable and of more use to people than 10 years of the shit they teach in uk , The uk (and probably majority of Japanese system) forces children to work this sort of thing out on there own often with no real support which is fine for kids that have an intuitive sense of things or are strong but children that are weaker or slower to come to important conclusions or don't have the natural ability to strive socaily get totally fucked in our current system which I would argue results in the large numbers of suicide ,people with depressoin , mental disorders , and people feeling dissatisfied with life.

This method of teaching should be what all primary schools strive for.

New York Legalizes Same-Sex Marriage!

quantumushroom says...

I have no problem with polygamy, however our complex society of laws might. I'm standing by as the legal chaos of gay 'marriage' begins its ascent. This is mob rule by a mob smaller than the majority.

The real danger is what these morally-questionable decisions mean in the long run. Today the defenders of gay marriage scoff at polygamy ever becoming legal when they have no moral grounds to deny polygamists anything. Beyond both of those endeavors the moral relativists will attempt to dismantle laws protecting children (put another way, they have no moral basis for opposing the decay of such laws).

Today the liberal shakes his head and laughs at such possibilities, because presently children are legally incapable of consenting to sexual relationships or marriage. But what are laws to judicial activists who circumvent them? Just 50 years ago homosexuality was defined as a mental disorder; now it's celebrated.

You'd think prostitution would be legal before gay 'marriage'. What a shortage of proper values!

Lawsuit After Guy Tasered 6 Times For Crooked License Plate

MaxWilder says...

I don't know why, but I read the comments before watching the video.

I don't see how anybody can defend the driver. Clearly he was either on drugs or has a mental disorder. He showed absolutely no respect for the cop, which is understandable. Lots of people hate cops, always have. What is NOT understandable is how he showed absolutely no fear of a man pointing a gun and shouting at him. That is not normal. I'm not using hyperbole when I say that the guy might be a psychopath. He recognizes that the guy with the gun might hurt him, but it doesn't trigger the fear response.

A normal person might accidentally get out of the car due to lack of experience with police procedure, but once they saw the gun drawn they would have trouble not soiling themselves. A normal person falls over themselves to comply when a gun is pointed at them.

So you have here either 1) a man on drugs, 2) a psychopath, or 3) a criminal who is so hardened that they no longer react normally to the immediate threat of deadly force. Possible all three.

And some of you have the balls to say he isn't presenting a threat to the officer? That's bullshit.

I did feel a tad bad about my first response, but this is one of those issues where there is simply no gray area (or if you live in Britain, grey area).

Without common borders, language and culture, (and common sense) there is no nation, period.

It shouldn't have to be explained why plundering invaders are bad for any nation's survival, even to liberals.

The only thing I'm 'sick' of is being RIGHT 98% of the time!

they are absolutely prime fodder for destructive ideologies.

but i've seen mentally ill atheists take after their bosses with machetes after watching too much anime. i've seen mentally atheists flip out while watching eternal sunshine of the spotless mind.

like at @GenjiKilpatrick said, it usually takes a catalyst for mental illness to turn into violence. but that catalyst doesn't HAVE to be religion. and in the absence of religion something else takes its place.

religions aren't something invented out of thin air. they have existed in every culture i can think of. most of them are really really similar. in the more ancient ones you can trace their dogma to serving an actual purpose benefiting human survival in the region (see cow worshipping hindis, or desert dwelling religions abstinence from pork). they obviously serve a purpose. and they change and evolve over time.

of the billions and billions of devout people throughout time how many of them have brutally slaughtered their children? i know you can list several. but thats out of BILLIONS. i'm not seeking to diminish the atrocities committed in the name of religion. i'm saying correlation does not = causation.

i'll wager my paycheck that there were warning signs leading up to this event. and i'll also wager my paycheck that the people who saw the warning signs were uneducated (about mental disorders) and i'll equipped and scared. declaring religion the cause of these kinds of horror stories doesn't lend itself to prevention very well. perhaps we need to take a better look at our mental health apparatus and not-nearly-adequate outreach, education and support system.

one thing i do think churches could do (and i know many churches that have) is adopt church counseling programs.. staffed by actual trained psychologists and counselors, not seminary graduates. to treat their members and give families an accessible, trusted place to turn to when they start seeing some destructive warning signs.

Crazy people often do more violent things than eat skittles. I don't see the connection between her crazy actions and religion. Linking this to religion is just like linking school shootings to violent video games. No, nothing that's being mass consumed drove this person from being the nice neighbour to slaughtering people. Stop looking for the fault in the things you don't like and accept the fact that some people are just crazy.

Of course there are connections. Just look at Islam. Christianity isn't as bad but people kill and maim others based on their reading of the Bible.
There's always the "just crazy" view. And I accept that to an extent. But I suspect people like that are prime fodder for destructive ideologies and supernatural thinking.
And she had access to a well established cult that served to radicalise her to a point where her family were no longer physically safe.

levels of consciousness-spiral dynamics & bi-polar disorder

enoch says...

right on IATB.
i think maybe we are talking about two seperate, yet similar, issues.
i am addressing the willy nilly diagnosis of the majority of people who have been diagnosed and then subjected to mind altering chemicals which have been proven to not be very effective.
how can you speak to someone for an hour and decide they are bi-polar and then put them on an anti-psychotic?
thats crazy.
it seems you are addressing the very REAL and tragic mental disorders in which medication may be a persons only real hope for a somewhat normal existence.
and in that regard i totally agree with you.
now you may disregard alternative methods in treating someone diagnosed with bi-polar and that is ok and your right but i feel it is not something to be dismissed so lightly.
please understand i am not dismissing the science, that would be foolish of me.i am not a luddite.i just feel treatment and healing will not come solely from chemicals.
i have anecdotal evidence but thats not exactly proof of anything except for my own experience.

in my opinion other avenues should always be pursued before we zombify people.there is a growing amount of data concerning the healing power of affection and love concerning us humans which is not surprising to me.
so while this man has taken a spiritual lilt to his approach,i would just call it being human.

this is a societal issue.on how our culture has become so materialistic as to strip us of our humanity.a constant barrage of "you are not good enough, smart enough, sexy enough but you WILL be if you buy this or that useless piece of crap".
mass marketers=satans little helpers.
is it any wonder that our society is lonely, depressed, anxiety ridden?
it really should not come as too much of a shock to those paying attention and is an entirely different conversation.

thanks for the recommendation on the books!
very awesome of you to offer to pay for them as well! appreciated but no need.the bad science one does look interesting and i will check it out (no chemistry in there right? cuz i suuuuck at chemistry).

p.s:dont feel bad trashing this dudes videos.berticus has to hold his down from exploding when i post one of this guys vids.

Charlie Sheen Says He's 'Not Bipolar but 'Bi-Winning'

Porksandwich says...

Sounds like the illness in general goes along with what I've seen my brother do. I guess mono-polar means they are in a constant manic state or vice versa and never come off that. My brother is most prominent when he's manic....because frankly he's just annoying as can be. He can do everything better than you, but he never finishes anything. You can't talk him out of things, blah blah... He got locked up for a bit due to the drug possession and being on house arrest because of his outbursts in court. No one could stand to leave him in the house due to his constant yammering and then he started spending all his money on frivolous crap....canceled his health insurance that he wasn't even paying. My parents had me kill the internet connection to his room, the phone line, and started me on terminating his cell phone so he couldn't fuck up anything else. And before they got the cell phone away from him, he called the police on my parents. He was ordered by the judge to take medication, he eventually refused to comply and when my parents finally admitted he was not taking his meds...they took two days to come get him. During which he didn't believe it, thought my parents were screwing with him. He was shocked to see the police at the door and refused to leave the house for them because he was on house arrest. I mean it's like a comedy skit if you didn't realize that he was so totally twisted in his thinking that everything he did was perfectly correct. And it wasn't but maybe 2-3 days in jail after being removed from the house and held until trial, 5-6 guys kicked his ass. They broke his shoulder badly enough that they had to get a surgical consult and multiple scans to determine if it needed operated on. His arm was essentially useless for almost 2 months...he couldn't lift it much beyond his waist. And they knocked him out, split his head open on the floor..... he's still trying to get his case heard....that he should haven't been put in the public population since they had never had him in there before when he was acting in the same irrational manner.

Even now with treatment, none of what he did above is wrong in his eyes. He was in jail because the police decided to put him in jail without provocation. He had the right to spend all his money because he earned it, never mind he had a lot of bills due to all of this plus a tow and storage bill he still owed for getting caught with drugs in a vehicle that was my parents. He had the right to cancel his insurance, because it wasn't doing anything for him anyway. And keep in mind the insurance is what covered the majority of his therapies to deal with his arm...the jail would not repay anything but the initial visit/consult. He still won't admit that it was stupid as hell to cancel his insurance with everything going on and them wanting him to get medical treatment on his mental disorder by court order. Calling the cops on my parents for cutting off his net access, cell phone and telephone in his room......that was my parents fault because they violated his "civil rights". Never mind the fact that they didn't have to consent to house arrest to get him out of jail or that he was a TOTAL asshole during that whole period and for months prior. It was never his fault......and still to this day isn't his fault. Even for a lot of the dumb shit he does now, but at least you can convince him to stop doing it.

It's literally like trying to deal with a child or delusional elderly person, but he has all the rights of an adult and the physical strength to really hurt someone if it came to that. The police won't/can't act unless you have guardianship over a person in this circumstance or they pose an immediate threat to others or themselves. I saw the cops trying to help, they would try to insult him and push him toward action instead of words. To the outside observer it would seem like they were picking the fight because they are bullies, but the choice was "get him help" or "remove him from the house with no where to go in a really fucked up mental state". It was clear he would be dead within a month if he was left to his own devices, and the jail beating was just an example of that. People wouldn't tolerate his bullshit, and he couldn't comprehend any of it.

>> ^Sagemind:

Also to note: There is no cure for this this.
You don't wake up one day and think clearly - this is something that will follow him around for the rest of his life.
Yes, there are prescriptions that can be taken to help balance out the brain chemistry. And only if you can get him to take them. Even once he is accepting treatment, it can go sideways at any time. And when it does, it's an awful chore to get back to square one. He may never "Look Back" on this and see what we see.
Sad but true....
