I haven't read the book, but I hope there's much more to this movie than a tragic love story. It looks like Slaughterhouse-Five for chicks.

This is available for rental from netflix. Its pretty good, but its not exactly scary. It has a creepy moment or two, but its mostly a 'young love' story.

Thanks kroopmeister! I wanted to do a self-promote but didn't have the points. This is tooo hilarious a skit to be missed.

This is a terrible trailer for a great movie: it gives away the whole story and lacks the great (mostly Indian) music that is in the film and gives it its spirit (unlike the music here that is/does not). The trailers seen here in Europe only proposed the first question with the four possible answers, showing that Hollywood believes Americans need to see the whole film in a minute or two before deciding that it fits their narrow tastes (as seen here in the transformation of a darkly humurous film of love, poverty, violence and destiny into a cheesy two-dimensional love story). Pityful.

All that to say: see the movie, but avoid this kind of trailer!

Yes the D5 is a bit steep at 3200 USD. The Nikon D90 that I use is far more reasonable at 900 for the body only or 1200 for the "kit" with a good starter lens.

Yeah! He made the country safer by reading children lovely stories while the Twin Towers burned. He made the country safer by turning the whole world's sympathy for the United States into contempt and disgust by engaging in an illegal war. He made the country safer by disregarding the Geneva convention so he could torture supposed terrorists without any sort of trial. He made the country safer by sending it's young soldiers to die in a foreign land so that he might further his own interests. Anyone that criticizes Bush obviously can't fathom all the good he's done for his country...
