Yeah, I was thinking of the music from Life Aquatic. YouTube search: "life aquatic rescue scene".

I like to think that they actually play this music in the background while doing this, blasting through loudspeakers.

I also expected to see The Belafonte. Too bad. My personal favorite Anderson film.

It also had that Portuguese musician Seu Jorge playing acoustic David Bowie covers throughout the film.

Or how about the Shining? Kubrick's insane penchant for kicking people off set and moving objects on the set, like paintings and couches, to slightly different locations in order to create an uncanny feeling throughout the movie. He didn't tell his actors either. He was just a weirdo. Worth a shout out for that.

No mention of Wes Anderson's awesome sets? Life Aquatic anyone?

Honest Trailers - Captain America: The Winter Soldier

It was a fun, well made action flick with decent characters. It wasn't Citizen Kane but it was an excellent example of what it wanted to be.

Grand Budapest Hotel though, was very overrated IMHO. Not that it was bad, but it wasn't nearly as good as The Life Aquatic.

I need to watch it again. I didn't find it as amaze-balls as everyone made it out to be (still enjoyed it though), although when I saw it, it was right after seeing The Grand Budapest Hotel.

Oh god I'm looking forward to this now. Please be better than Darjeeling (and Zizou too, kinda) !!

Wes Anderson hasn't really made a decent film sine The Royal Tenenbaums, which is now 11 years ago! Hopefully this will be a return to form. When his movies are good, they're very good, but his output is pretty uneven.

Really? I'll admit that I'm pretty much alone in thinking that The Life Aquatic is a masterpiece (it's my favourite of Anderson's films), but The Darjeeling Limited was pretty well regarded and quite enjoyable, and Fantastic Mr. Fox was absolutely delightful. You didn't even like that one?

No, you are NOT alone!!! There are a handful of films that I will watch on a pretty regular basis and Life Aquatic is one of them. It's everything from hilarious awkwardness, to the settings, the sets, the odd dialog, the Portuguese Bowie covers, Bill Murray in general, the MILF quality of Anjelica Houston, and Michael Gambon's small part is just PERFECT. PERFECT I TELL YOU.

Esteban!! Esteban!! Esteban!!

I enjoyed Fox and it was better than either Darjeeling or Zissou. Whereas I saw Darjeeling in the cinema, and then entirely forgot it existed within a week, there was something about Zissou that stayed with me even though Tannenbaums and Rushmore are head and shoulders above it. (Rushmore is my favourite btw)
