Jim Cramer Responds to Jon Stewart w/ Help from Scarborough

Jim Cramer lies non stop. He repeatedly advised people to buy financials when it was extremely obvious to anyone with a brain that all banks were insolvent. His calls on bank stocks were so ridiculous that I find it impossible to believe that he made them out of stupidity.

He tried to defend his calls by claiming that all stocks went down, and that he also told people to sell everything. I have a few responses to this: (1) his call to "sell everything" was extremely late, and was only made after every Joe Six Pack out there had already figured out by himself that Cramer was full of shit; (2) one should never recommend the general public to BUY BUY BUY while the prices are dropping like a rock; (3) his stock picks aren't mere underperformers -- they went bankrupt or are worth cents on the dollar.

Make no mistake: Jim Cramer is a crook.

Seriouly, what a fucking moron. Does Jon Stewart (or more appropriately in this example) Comedy Central hold himself up as an "expert"? All the networks have their experts and bill it as "If you want the best financial advice, get the real deal from our expert (insert name here)."
To compare the two is idiotic!
At least the Cramer guy is going "Well, he's a comic, what d'ya want?"

Exactly. Cramer's comeback is "Well I don't see Stewart giving any financial advice". Well Stewart never claimed to. You're the one who's advice has been harmful to people and harmful to the economy.

And they complain about Jon using people's own words against them? As if that's somehow out of bounds? As if he's stalking them "24 hours a day" and using things out of context? No, it's clips from your freaking television shows broadcast to millions of people. Don't complain that someone calls you on your hypocrisy.

Jim Cramer funded and managed his own hedge fund from 1987 to 2001 (Cramer & Co.)He's actually been pretty successful. A week before the stock market crash in '87, his future wife (a Steinhardt trader) advised him to sell everything, so he broke even while the S&P 500 took an 18% loss. Cramer & Co. gave its clients a higher yield on their money than the S&P or the Dow Jones Industrials average every year between 1988 and 1996. In 1993 he also became a columnist for SmartMoney, a new personal finance magazine. This became an issue in 1995, when a front page Washington Post story charged that the Cramer & Co. hedge fund had made $2.5 million as a major stockholder in three thinly traded small companies whose stock soared in value after favorable mention in a SmartMoney column by Cramer. Moreover, Cramer had bought large amounts of shares in these companies after submitting the column to the editors but before the magazine reached readers.

When John McCain Came To The Rescue

The more I see about this, the more furious I get.

I Simply cannot believe this man to be SO fucking incompetent, that he would put his presidential race and his party and his philosophy, before not only the US economy, but the GLOBAL economy.

Hes not just risking money, hes risking LIVES.
If the world economy collapses as a result of this shit, millions of people will die.
Industry incapable of producing food, transporting it, and generally sustaining the people around it because they dont even have the funds to operate, creates poverty on a scale not seen anywhere outside of Africa.

Lucky for these guys I'm not in the US atm, I might consider exercising my right to bear arms.

I used to laugh when Jim Cramer had a mind-explosion, Im about to have one myself. This act alone, should dismiss him from ever working as a public servant ever again, because this is not in the publics interest at all.
