Freestylin' To the beat of his unborn son’s heart monitor

longde says...

@chilaxe, I never know if you are serious or trolling, but since you admire Cain so much, perhaps it would interest you to know that you would also consider his parents low class and not well educated, who worked 'cognitively simplistic' jobs:

Herman Cain was born in Memphis, Tennessee, to Lenora Davis Cain, a cleaning woman and domestic worker, and Luther Cain, Jr., who was raised on a farm and worked as a barber and janitor, as well as a chauffeur for Coca-Cola Company president Robert W. Woodruff. Cain has said that as he was growing up, his family was "poor but happy." Cain related that his mother taught him about her belief that "success was not a function of what you start out with materially, but what you start out with spiritually". His father worked three jobs to own his own home — something he achieved during Cain's childhood — and to see his two sons graduate.

Also, the uploader is obviously in the Air Force, so he must have at least graduated from high school.

These Canadian redneck jumps never get old!

I don't think there are any viable solutions. Homo sapien evolution left 99% of the species with great difficulty with abstract thought. There was no reason to evolve temperaments that would be useful in civilization, because civilization hadn't emerged yet, thus all the behaviors we see around us.
So there isn't going to suddenly be a cultural shift toward valuing productivity, innovation, and intellectualism. There are a few hubs around the world like Silicon Valley, but that's it.
My only recommendation is people devote themselves to their careers and insulate themselves from the under-performing culture around them. Reprogenetics (re-programming genetics) will likely fix all of it before the end of the century.

Are you kidding? If everyone valued "productivity, innovation, and intellectualism," who would be our janitors? Our garbagemen? Our fry cooks? We need doofuses around -- and a lot of them at that -- to do the stupid menial jobs that we'd never want to do.

Newt Gingrich wants child janitors?

Crosswords says...

He's unlikable because of his palpable disdain for anyone who earns less than $50k a year. He's unlikable because he insists income inequality exists because we don't let the poor send their kids to work. He's unlikable because he blames some of the lowest paid people doing some of the least desirable jobs for creating poverty. If Newt was sailing around the middle of the ocean in his yacht and came across someone barely treading water he'd throw them a brick and tell them to swim their lazy asses to shore.

This has nothing to do with encouraging students to take an interest in their school, its about blaming the poor for being poor because they don't work hard enough.

HOW is it a bad thing to come up with ideas that can potentially teach our youth the value of an honest day's work by giving them ways to (legally) invest in and add value to the very schools in which they attend?
There's a pretty good chance you've completely missed his point. Disguising a use-case as a general rule is just a cover for what's obviously a disdain for Gingrich the man. Hate him or not, he's smart enough to devastate Obama in any debate with his words. (It's Gingrich's unlikability that would eventually be his undoing, imo. He's nowhere NEAR as "cool" as Obama and voters totally love "cool". Not as handsome as Romney, either. People seem to dig that too.)
And as a side note, there's a pretty damn good chance that giving this video the title "Newt Gingrich wants child janitors?" is hopelessly mired in bias.
No one's marching children into factories here.

Creating wage equality and promoting class mobility by firing those fat cat school janitors and replacing them with children. Why that's so brilliant its retarded!!

tyrellmojohnston says...

Hehehe sorry, but in an OCEAN of old ugly fat white guys in suits, he's extraordinarily "cool". He's young, black, thin, tall, he bumps fists with his fashion-savvy young wife, has a smooth talking bassy voice, walks shirtless in Hawaii and gets papparazzi photos of his pecs...

Admitting that doesn't mean you like him or his policies or want to make out with him, but to deny this fact would be just silly. The man has a level of "cool" not often seen in politicians. Clinton had a bit of that swagger, too.

>> ^Winstonfield_Pennypacker:

Totally disagree. Obama 'cool'? Since when?
The man looks like Soupy Sales, but with even bigger ears. He's a scrawny, pencil-necked gooney bird who looks less 'cool' than a white guy trying to bust a move.
Obama isn't cool. He's cold. The man is condescending, insulting, and unsympathetic to anyone he meets who doesn't fall over themselves to kiss his butt. The second anyone says anything that disagrees or contradicts him, his face tightens up and you can just see the daggers stabbing out his eyes.
Obama 'cool'... Barf. Could not disagree more stridently on this point.

I don't like Newt, wouldn't vote for him if you paid me tons of cash.

However, this isn't as bad of an idea as it may seem. You don't mandate it, you ALLOW it. Allow students to sign up for janitorial duty, pay them a decent minimum wage, even give them an hour during school with which to perform their duties, or an hour before or after school. Allow the head janitor to also fire them if they suck, and hire outside help if resources are low. Make it a maximum of 5 or so hours a week per student.

I see nothing wrong with this.

Sounds fair, it can't be any worse than the Chinese prisoners forced to do 12 hour gold farming shifts in World of Warcraft.

Also, I would like to think that if I worked hard enough for the man, I too could one day be a master janitor - I would be like a Janitor 2.0 and have a business card with my name.

TDS - Penn State Riots

draak13 says...

When the 1% Fuck little children, the 99% cover it up.

What people haven't been talking about is that there was yet another person who witnessed the guy having sex in the shower with a kid; a janitor saw him having oral sex with victim number 8. He went back and told the entire janitorial staff what he saw. The guy was so hysterical that the entire staff thought he was going to have a heart attack. He reported the incident to his superior, and the guy told him to contact the police he chose to report it. However, there was a lot of pressure to not report the incident, because they were all afraid that they would lose their jobs if they reported the incident. Thus, it never got reported.

It's truly amazing to think of the number of people that knew about it...and how nothing ever happened. This went on for almost 20 years. Jon Stewart and so many other people say how it's inconceivable that 'they wouldn't stop it from happening and/or call the police immediately.' Really, most people aren't like that. You learn in first semester psychology that most people aren't like that. Most people are embarassed that they would be making a huge fuss on something that they don't know a lot about...even if they make a huge fuss about it through unofficial channels.

The biggest pisser is that the *university police* even knew about it, and they likely had a lot of internal pressure to keep it hush because they as well felt that their job security might be at risk if they pursue it. They even knew about a currently unofficial victim number 9 who is currently overseas in the military & can't return to be on trial.

Again, they were all afraid of losing their jobs because this asshole was so high ranking that they were afraid to do anything about it. THE 99% ARE THEMSELVES MAKING A LARGER DISPARITY AGAINST THE 1%. If you treat the 1% as untouchable in their position of power, they will be. If you demand equal treatment, then own up to it...especially right now.

Paper Airplane Telekinesis.......(Wait For It)

mxxcon says...

When I was in grade school, at the end of the school year I and my friends would take our used notebooks, rip out pages, make paper airplanes out of them and then throw them from my 9th flood balcony. All the janitors of the surrounding buildings were really annoyed by us.

Funny that you mention them:

8. The cheerleaders in the "Teen Spirit" video were recruited from an LA strip joint. Nirvana really wanted their friend in the band L7 for the part. They were overruled. (Bonus fact: Dave was dating L7's Jennifer Finch at the time.)

9. The janitor was the actual janitor from director Sam Bayer's apartment complex in Venice Beach.

10. Kurt was worried "Teen Spirit" sounded too much like a Pixies song. He was also worried it had too much of the same feeling as Boston's "More Than a Feeling."

11. Nevermind's original recording budget was $65,000. They ended up spending twice that.

Racist Fuck BNP Leader Predicted the UK Riots 3 Years Ago

alien_concept says...

>> ^dannym3141:

Alien, i don't think this is a race riot at all. Otherwise we'd be seeing more specifically targetted attacks against people, one thing the riots haven't had too badly which is very surprising.
You could call this class riots if you wanted to; this is the rioting of the little chavvy bastard kids who have all been promised superstar futures - they don't think they have to work hard for a living, they don't think they're the people who have to be binmen or janitors. Perhaps with the increase in tuition fees they're not thinking about university and now they're facing up to leaving school and getting a shit job.
It's not new - the university system is just a great place to educate EVERYONE poorly and give us millions of extremely qualified simpletons who now think they don't deserve to work as binmen or cleaners, but by that time they'd reached an age where they had to put up, shut up, and get a crap job. So maybe now people are realising at an earlier age that there's no superstar future for them and they're angry.
That could be a small bit of it. But most of all, it's a riot of little chavvy bastard kids who no longer have any respect (due to declining discipline at home and at school, thanks molly coddle culture) nor any fear for the pitiful consequences that follow.
Whilst i've been out - shopping, exercising, walking, socialising - I've been spoken to by PARENTS or people of parenting age like i was a piece of shit. I've been told to fuck off for telling someone "look out!" when they nearly crossed the tram tracks near me when a tram was coming; a parent with fucking kids! That's the kind of thing you expect 13 year olds to do and it's being done by the people who are raising or have raised our thirteen year olds! What then are the next 13 year olds gonna turn out like? Well, see for yourself right now.
Go and ask a retired teacher the state of affairs cos just like my dad they'll tell you; 30 years ago, a parent would come in on parents evening and hear that their kid was misbehaving and their kid would get in DEEP shit and start booking their ideas up 99% of the time. Nowadays and in recent times, parents are far more likely to shout at the fucking TEACHER if their kid is misbehaving. Either "why are you keeping my kid in detention all the time, are you a bully?" or "why aren't you teaching my kid discipline?" or sometimes BOTH one after the fucking other.
Fuck this fucking country man. Rant over.

I don't think it is either dude, see some of my recent comments. I thought I made my posting intention plain in the summary, that whether this is a race thing or not, plenty of people will believe it to be and the BNP will benefit from this.
