FYI on anyone that may be unhappy with that dupe killing, the solution is to suggest to the original poster of this one to include the slightly longer clip in this post. Otherwise, where does it end? Can I post a slightly longer clip of how Krusty lost the rights to Itchy and Scratchy? I don't think that's what we want.

I think that everyone would be surprised just how easy it is to become an Armed Security Officer (guard). 40 hour training which includes handgun qualification and shotgun qualification. I've seen a few of these classes, and they are pretty strict, but that is given the place that is providing the training. Zero Tolerance for itchy trigger fingers, and violating the fire line.

I agree completely - I'm not excited because it's Apple - I'm excited because a flat, touchable slate is a SF fantasy come to life. Probably comes with having lived through the '80s and the amazing advancements that have happened since.

But as dag said, I tend to go off on this because it seems to be exactly the opposite of what Apple haters think it is. Dag - I hope you see that there's an entire universe of possibilities being opened up to a lot of people with the advent of the iPad. Checking my email was never a priority for me with this thing (although taking this on flights instead of a laptop has changed my travel habits for the better). But if you let your brain extrapolate from things like TouchOSC, you see where this future is heading and it's pretty damn exciting, whether it has an Apple logo or whatever other company wants to make one.

The funny thing is these little guys are some of the most harmless anthropoids; they couldn't even break your skin if they wanted to. Why, you could scoop up that whole pile and carry them around in your pocket without any worries.
