Presentation Fight - IPad vs Surface

Microsoft never fails to innovate their name on someone else's product.
Yes, because the iPad was, of course, the first tablet ever.
Lovely Charts for iPad
Nice video, but by customer reviews seems to be shit in practice.
And even by the best case shown in the video it's a pretty limited app, certainly no Visio for iPad.

Whats with the sticks? Whats the ipad looking thing from the ground?

Obviously, you missed the entire point. You're statement is like saying "The Web? Haven't you heard of cable TV?"

Kids today are going to remember the iPad as this old useless archaic tool that had extremely limited featured, yet sold for a lot of money - the same way I remember my first pong videogame.
Useless? You've heard of apps, right?
No, I've not missed the point, a portable tablet computer with thousands of apps is not "useless". It's good for watching videos, surfing the web, playing games, reading, email, playing music... those may not be valuable things, or useful to you, but it's just plain inaccurate to call it useless. and you're not comparing like with like. Cable TV and the Web have nothing to do with each other. A better analogy would be to compare the iPad to a web browser - a browser is only as useful as the sites you view with it, and an iPad's usefulness depends on its programs (just like any computer).

Advice on E-Book Readers (Comics Talk Post)
Get it...it's only 200 bucks. You can read anything on it, plus you can do other things. Worst case scenario is you realize you wish it had done more stuff...in that event you can always get another device. It beats buying an iPad and realizing you don't even utilize most the features.

I use my Kindle app for iPad every night and I can't complain. The iPad 2 is a little heavier and more awkward than the average paperback, though not as heavy as a Stephen King hardback. IPad 2s are now less than $300.
Advice on E-Book Readers (Comics Talk Post)
Well, I have an iPad that I occasionally use as a comic reader, and even with its 10 inch screen, it feels a little bit small for that purpose. I can't imagine that the 7 inch Kindle will work particularly well as a comic reader, or at least not without a lot of pinching and zooming. If you're serious about reading comics, I'd probably go for a bigger tablet.
"So dad, how do you like that iPad we got you?"

I think this might be a dupe, but I don't have time to search just now.
I have it on authority from the highest government officials that this is not a dupe. Plus I use new Dupe Preventer software that uses a worldwide distributed network of hacked iPads to automatically detect and eliminate the earlier posts.
