I’ve been watching the series this week….it’s just as weird as it looks. Nicely alien biology throughout.
Artwork is a bit Möbius/Heavy Metal, a bit Katsuhiro Otomo/Akira.
It’s admittedly a bit simplistic with the story.
I recommend it for sci-fi animation fans.

LD&R is an amazing series and I hope they make more. The story of the kitsune was amazing, as was the one about the Red Army battling demons. Reminds me of Heavy Metal.

Big time stupid move - be lucky if he doesn't suffer some permanent damage. If that is used motor oil, exposure to heavy metals and gasoline residual products is not going to do his liver much good at all... some of that comes right through the skin.

So, I've come to accept the fact that I am now hopelessly generation-gapped, but I'm getting the impression that heavy metal (in all its variations) is the most popular of the non-pop/hip-hop genres. I seem to run into a lot of people who I would never guess are into metal that are all about it. Even though personally I only kind of tangentially appreciate heavy metal, I definitely approve of the current situation if I'm correct.

I read an article recently about a study of '80s kids and how they adjusted. Grouped by music preference, Heavy Metal fans were the happiest and best-adjusted of all.

So I guess that means I might be happy and well-adjusted one day... >sigh<
