You missed a few parts there...3 teens killed, Israel CLAIMS by Hamas, but Hamas never takes credit (and they love to take credit). Israel immediately bombs Palestine mercilessly AND 1 Palestinian teen kidnapped and burned alive by Israeli soldiers (there's no such thing as an Israeli civilian), AND another Palestinian teen is ACCUSED BY ISRAEL of throwing gas bombs only AFTER they are caught on tape beating and stomping the hell out of him while he's handcuffed and completely subdued. Hamas then retaliates with 1/1000 the force returned by Israel. Egypt, an enemy of Palestine, and Israel make a show of calling for a 'ceasefire' on 100% their terms without even talking to Hamas, then claims it's Hamas that won't cease. Israel continues launching more guided missiles at beaches, hospitals, and old folks homes, killing hundreds of civilians and then invades in full force, killing hundreds more, while Hamas shoots hundreds of essentially fireworks causing extremely minor damage and 1 eventual death....yet you think Hamas is the big bad guy and Israel is the poor innocent whipping boy.....Um.....just DUH.
Hamas started it IF AND ONLY IF YOU BELIEVE ONLY ISRAELI PROPAGANDA, but if you look dispassionately at the known facts, that's simply BS, Israel invaded first, shot first and continues to shoot more and more disastrously at civilians while whining 'we have to defend ourselves' (from the useless fireworks the Palestinian devils are shooting at us), which should really mean turning on the missile defense system.
What they are doing it offensive, not defensive....and I'm offended!

You know, it's those instances where the youth (it's always a kid) is handcuffed and under control, yet still manages to get himself shot because he was suddenly so threatening to the cops they had no other choice. Those things only happen to black people in the U.S.

If you actually think the criminal justice system in the US treats everyone equally, regardless of color, you're really not worth talking to anymore, because you need therapy to deal with your delusional state, rather than debate.

Britain has quite a reputation for brawlers, yobs...Would most eyewitnesses there immediately call 999 if they witnessed this? I know if this happened in Texas there would be at least 3 people chasing this asshole down to throttle him, before the police got him....The constabulary once he'd been arrested would not treat him much better.

Well, the officer used pain to gain compliance.

He then handcuffed the offender calmly instead of using sudden moves. The last thing you want to do is start a struggle in which you'll be outweighed by 100 lbs. And getting stabbed by a hidden weapon is annoying.

The officer values his life more than we value his life (approximately zero), so he'll act accordingly.


I think we agree that this video could never happen to a smart person. But we disagree on how much people who insist on non-smartness should be able to inconvenience society.

Seriously though, I'm with Sofaking on this one. It isn't like he was strapped to a bed with his hands at either side. We'd have to see the range of motion that was possible in this particular situation to determine whether or not it was "impossible."

This is a very very unusual case, but one of the most compelling things about it is the fact that they left him handcuffed. It just doesn't make sense. If they were going to claim he did it, they could have easily uncuffed him after shooting him and then said he never had the cuffs on. It just doesn't make sense.

Yes, it sounds amazingly suspicious, but I feel like a lot of people who didn't see the specifics are taking the media's word for the exact details when we really don't know how much he could move his hands.


Let's get specific: Put your hands behind your back. Assume you have a gun right in the small of your back. You can easily reach it if you have about six inches of movement and maneuver it around.

Here's yet another scenario... the guy gets his gun from behind his back and makes an attempt at shooting the chain between the cuffs and accidentally shoots himself in the head as he leans over to try to see if he's got the chain in the right place. See? No suicide, no motive for the cops, just a kid trying to get out of the cuffs with the gun he has.

Or it could be the time-traveler.

No sarcasm. An exercise most Law enforcement instructors perform is showing recruits what a person is capable of doing while handcuffed. Behind the back doesn't limit you that much if the palms are facing each other. A person handcuffed in this fashion can still access and control a handgun, including shooting forwards or his own head.

I'm not a fan of cops either. My girlfriend works in an emergency room and sees the "accidents" handcuffed people have all the time. Her mom is also an ER doc and dislikes them as well.


That said it isn't clear at ALL what is going on in this video. I don't have some Pavlovian response to "Cop Abuse" must UPVOTE.
