Aftermath of massive explosion in China

Ramsay Bolton - The kindest man in Westeros (GoT Parody)

Retroboy says...

I like how he just goes by his middle and last name, not his real first one - Gordon - so as not to confuse himself with another sweet, kind and quiet-natured fellow.

Hell's Cafeteria - Gordon Ramsay Grills Chen & Corden

"Idiot sandwich", I bust out laughing at that one. I watched the first few seasons of Hell's Kitchen because Gordon Ramsey was amusing to watch when he flies off the handle. But the Cinderella story premise is beaten into the ground on all these "reality" show contests. All these wannabes who think they will be fast-tracked into success without spending years earning it deserve all the "reality" check failures that come their way.

Broccoli Soup Pictures (Food Talk Post)

I made it once so far (Gordon Ramsey style). Although i just went with a bit of sea salt and broccoli. Think ill use a bit less water next time for a more creamy feel. It is going to end up being one of my regular soups of choice.

*promote the soupy goodness.

You can actually set an end time for YT embeds now by editing the code like this:

<iframe width="485" height="363" src="//www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/zbnPfDa4yhE?start=5&end=149" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="true"></iframe>

Which comes out like this. Has a tendency to bugger up sometimes if the viewer skips around or what have you, but in principle the functionality it there. If you don't want a start time use ?end= instead of &end=.

Stay for the ride and get off at feelstown

*Disturbing* Police Shooting (killing) Of Albaquerque Man

artician says...

"When asked if the shooting was justified, Police Chief Gordon Eden said, “Do I believe it was justified shooting? Yes, if you follow case law, ‘Garner versus Tennessee’, there was directed threat to an officer.” Eden’s reference was an attempt to justify the shooting of Mr. Boyd as he walked away. In Tennessee v. Garner, police shot a fleeing 15-year-old in the back of the head as he tried to climb a fence. The Supreme Court ruled that it was reasonable to kill suspects as they try to escape, even if unarmed, if the officers have a probable cause to believe that the suspect poses a significant threat of death or serious physical injury to the officer or others.

Whether that case law is relevant to the killing of James Boyd remains to be seen. But the department stands by the homicide. Chief Eden also pointed out that “less than lethal devices” had been used, as if to justify the use of deadly force."
