Um, I'm not sure what you're seeing. But that dog never once made any gesture or posture that would indicate he/she was at any point in time going to make any attempt to harm anything or anyone. She seems to be scapegoating rappers and black women, and using the wealth signifiers of rap music (washing rims in the kitchen decorated with bottles of champagne) to gesture at self-important “anti-consumerism” (as if an Armani tie on a hedge fund analyst wasn't just as bad). She's exhibiting the same kind of bad taste and myopia (not to mention latent racism) as other [white] singers, Lorde and Macklemore.

Saying you are ignorant and weak before a hypothetical perfect being seems to me an empty gesture of humility. Of course you are. Everyone would be. "Nobody's perfect." There. That was easy.
What is hard and humbling is admitting you may be wrong about your most deeply-held beliefs.

I think the actor who plays Gambit here does such a perfect job of making him likeable and pathetic. Every little gesture is great -- the point with "really hard", the mumbling about needing to throw the playing cards around a bit, the surprise when he's fired.

I don't have a problem with special effects. I have a problem with shitty special effects that make me feel like I'm playing a video game instead of watching a movie. Anyone with a fair amount of gaming experience can tell what's real from what's not. All I'm saying is I long for the days when cgi was used to enhance rather than replace good special effects.

i have to admit that whenever i received a large tip such as this i always felt a tad uncomfortable.
i totally appreciated the gesture but it still made me uneasy.
