IMPORTANT! YOU ARE BEING MANIPULATED!!!

Payback says...

I would like to thank the Sift. I would NEVER be fed this on any social media, youtube, etc. (not on Facebook, never have, FIGHT THE POWER)

Even though the the upvote/downvote part is not unlike the manipulation they're talking about, at least I get content that isn't in my bubble. A bubble I'm more and more convinced is being forced on me, not because I'm afraid of being wrong or of change.

Alex Jones Says Star Wars Is 'State-Funded' Propaganda

notarobot says...

Do I have to watch it? This vid, I mean?

Star Wars is about rebels fighting a powerful empire that governs the galaxy. It glorifies taking down the establishment by a group of (well funded) gun-toting terrorists.

I suppose you could draw a parallel to the American war of independence against the British...

But in a modern context this would be like a group of domestic insurgents blowing up an aircraft carrier ("Death Star") while staging an armed rebellion against the US government (now a subsidiarity of "Gov-co," a joint venture of the Disney, Viacom, Lockheed Martin, JP Morgan Chase, and Koch Bros. companies).

Simply put, that's just not going to happen.

edit: Okay I just watched the above clip. That guy made even less sense than the BS that I just made up.

Idiocracy explains Trump voters

cosmovitelli says...

Right wingers have a lower IQ and want a simplified world. They get frustrated when the simpleton they elected, surrounded by Nixons CIA team (including the simpleton's daddy) treat them like the fools they are.
Then they make an even dumber decision. Eventually they will elect a Hitler or such. If that doesn't make them idiots I don't know what would.

As an entertaining sidenote, when Bush lost to Obama, right wing voters (those that were being monitored and expresseed political preference) had a DROP IN TESTOSTERONE.
For them politics is an emotional, tribal event like a pack of apes fighting over power. Idiot is too kind.

BUILDING THE MACHINE - The Common Core Documentary

chingalera says...

Alas, hope still for my own state of sequester which has told the Common Core to suck a dick.

Yeah, this common core bullshit is nothing but agenda-oriented think-tank implants/appointees working in tandem with politicians and their pals to guide the populous headfirst and forward into how to think like automatons and wage slaves without the capacity or will to fight the powers that bees.

McDonald's Worker Confronts Company Prez Over Fair Wages

NSA (PRISM) Whistleblower Edward Snowden w/ Glenn Greenwald

poolcleaner says...

Yo, play Ingress with me. It's an augmented reality game with two factions fighting over actual points of interest in reality: Post offices, fire departments, police stations, parks, college campuses, jamba fuckin juices.

Each location is a portal that you fight over and DESTROY for your factions. I am in the Orange County Resistance. If they want to stop us from playing, then they're going to have to stamp out all of our freedoms.

Fight the power peacefully and practice war in augmented reality!

@poolcleaner me: Garden Grove, Stanton, Westminster, Fountain Valley, Irvine, Costa Mesa. Civil Disobedience in the form of gaming.

Civil disobedience to combat the shit: Everyone should start now speaking freely of everything from bringing down office buildings with exploding pig's bladders to disrupting nationwide power grids with the power of Pokemon attached to Charizard provided Fire Energy...

Write unintelligible and nonsensical letters to congressmen and senators with return addresses from any and all intelligence apparatus

Wear (at least once a week) a crisp, company-man suit with that little white coiled communications wire dangling out of an ear and walk around in federal buildings and court houses....(Make sure the slacks are ass-less)

Subvert, misdirect, confuse, stifle and incinerate the insects that hold the reigns of this shitstorm factory of servers-

Attend open sessions of congress and laugh manically whenever anyone starts speaking. ABOUT ANYTHING-Bring a hundred people with you...

There's all sorts of effectual mayhem to take part in, your "vote" at this particular stage in the game, means FUCK-ALL

Sax Battle In NYC Subway

poolcleaner says...

Ahhh, good ol portrait view. Methinks I will enjoy this temporary, tertiary phase in media standards. However, gamers who awaken to this non-issue and cease to make it into an issue, should remember that early conversion of arcade games, which were in portrait view, had an uphill battle to recreate the same experience on home display sets oriented in landscape.

Modern mobile gamers should all position themselves to break this mental boundary. Dedicate a little bit of your brain's background processing to fight the power of arbitrary persuasion. We're still in a developmental stage before display monitors completely explode and offer full customization with morphing length, width and heights; not to mention geometric adaptation beyond the rectangle.

Exactly... this is why 99.9999999999999999999% of all conspiracy theories are absolute bunk.
All this shit that people think they 'know' about 9/11, and how it MUST have been thermite, MUST have been re-rigged to demolish.
They really need to get their heads around the fact that what they've come up with is something that is maybe, possible plausible but in NO WAY the most likely, the most reasonable, or even probable... they just come up with convoluted ways that things could conceivably occur and then decide that that MUST be fact.

Speaking of the Kennedy assassination there was no reason to kill him. None. People think it's because he was going to pull the troops out of Vietnam but he was never going to do that, they took one quote and turned it into a promise of his to pull them out like he was fighting more powerful interests. He was a bastard like all the other bastards. His historian even had to rewrite the books to make it look like he was a big pacifist.

there has been various speculation that Kennedy wanted to shut down the fed.
if true, i imagine that would have gotten him rather unliked by essentially the most powerful people in the world.

TYT: Texas GOP tries to stop you from critical thinking

Sagemind says...

My faith in the American (republican) people from this point on will forever be tarnished beyond repair.
(last straw factor)

Those that are not Republicans, I sympathies with your malaise and lack of fight to expel this monolith of tyranny that strives to push the average man down and subjugate you for their own benefit. I urge you to rise up and fight that power that enslaves you, laughs at you and sucks you dry.

You are the only ones who can rise up against this virus of humanity that has taken hold. It's your rights, your country. If you want to be a patriot, then fight for your country. Fight from within and fight to cleanse your own system before looking outside your borders for a fight.

You owe it to yourselves - you own it to all of us.

Edit: Sorry to have ranted - the neurons fired and I just went with it.
