marinarasays...Yeah, the economy has created 300,000 new manufacturing jobs in the last 2 years.
Unfortunately, the economy has to create jobs to keep up with the growth of population. And it's not, job creation is at 135,000 jobs per month, we need 150,000 jobs per month to keep new workers employed.
This economy isn't in growth, it's non-growth.

Funny how the top graph keeps inching up. That's unemployment. Inching up.
I do believe that Rachel has found a bright spot with the manufacturing growth. Just like Hans Christian Anderson's "The little match girl", It may even keep us warm through these long winter nights.
