Zero Punctuation - Fallout 4

dannym3141 says...

I really have enjoyed Fallout 4, but having watched this i'm surprised that i kind of agree with it. I think out of all the quests i've done in the game, a good 90% of them must have been to kill everything in a certain area, sometimes even when i'd already cleared out that area. Mindlessly ferreting away huge amounts of scrap stuff and making trips home just to store it was boring as hell, a better option would have been to let us strip useful stuff out junk and have it weigh less.

It says something for what they've put together when you think that it makes almost all of the critical errors of rpg making and still somehow manages to make me enjoy it. But i think the mistakes it does make takes away from its longevity, i played all the time for a few weeks and now not at all, and i can't quite bring myself to finish any of the main storylines.

Smarter Every Day - Devil Facial Tumor Disease

00Scud00 says...

While I could believe that the Tasmanian Devils greet each other by biting I don't think his little experiment with the camera proves much. I dangle just about anything in front of my Ferrets and they'll start chomping, I've heard that it's just how they interact with the world, perhaps it is similar with the Devils.
Also, a little Sympathy for the Devil might have been appropriate, poor lil devils.

You saw those houses in the background? The ferrets are practising, that's what they're doing, practising for the walls. And once they're in the house, everybody dies.
Haha, cute ferret.
Mark my words. It's got a death curse!

Dot's Great Escape

Name your dog "Shady" and that's what you should expect!

I wish they'd started recording earlier to see the ferret lure the dog into position with a cleverly placed treat.

May be the cutest weasel ever

Retroboy says...

"May be the cutest *weasel* yet". This isn't a ferret, although they're related.

Too bad OP didn't get a shot of the all-white body and black tail-tip. That just adds to the cuteness.

Guy rescues cat with head stuck in a can

From personal experience I can assure you that even the simplest tasks can be made near impossible by adding at least one squirming and upset critter. If I hadn't learned to apply Ferrettone to my ferret's tummy, clipping his nails would have been an exercise in futility.

What the hell, was that can made from Wolverine's bones? Why did it take him so long to cut it and peel it open. Lady hands!

Rise of the Super Drug Tunnels: California's Losing Fight

Shit, plastic explosives; having failed 80's comedy trivia I will now go sit in the corner. Ferrets might do the job but afterwards you'll have an entirely new problem in extracting them from their new underground lair, they take to those like Bond villains.
As for drug solutions, yes, legalization is unthinkable to most of these people and so is not an option in their minds.

Considered and rejected. Besides, Bill prefers plastic explosive (you can't make Mr Squirrel out of TNT)!
Because some are under my house, even the gophenator and similar explosive methods are excluded. I even have to be careful trying gas, or I might gas myself. It's a problem.
On the serious side...there is a way to make it unappealing enough to stop the criminal aspect....legalize and regulate...that removes the insane profit margins and makes dangerous illegal smuggling no longer worth it....but maybe that's not what you meant.
