Thanks, good vids, i definately like the original version just done exactly as it was recorded, when people try and mix it up - like in the cover version the first singer starts screaming wowowowowowwow, it makes me cringe a bit.

I saw a pink floyd cover band + symphony orchestra a few years ago where i live, this particular song got the most applause out of any of them, including (my personal favourite) comfortably numb.

By that reasoning movie remakes or cover bands should be just as pointless and boring. Maybe you feel that way, but I rather enjoy listening to cover bands at the local pubs.

Kids Incorporated totally lost all credibility once Fergie joined. They used to have heart, and then she turned up and it became just like a cover band of 50s to 80s bands.

Wow, really excellent job. I thought that it would fall apart once the vocals started, but the lead singer was perfect. I can't recall ever seeing such a spot on cover band (and it's only 2 guys + backup vocals!).

But then again, look how long "grunge" stuck around, and look where rock music is heading today. Right back to the hair band rock and roll style it was before Kurt the rest of them showed up. Don't get me wrong, I like this song and other Nirvana stuff. Hell, we played this song two times a night. And I loved singing it. (Used to do the Weird Al version for fun sometimes.) But, I guess it goes to show you that you really can't kill rock and roll.

This is the first time I have heard Arcade Fire songs played by a cover band. Not bad.

A [drunk] girl at the annual meeting for the American Society of Virology in '08 sang this during the break of the [incredibly good] cover band that performed at the party at the end of the week. I LOLed as did a few hundred other geeks like yours truly. Heh. nice.

Whether he deserves it or not, that guard is probably going to lose his job over a negligence suit. I'd be surprised if starting the gate and then walking away was acceptable procedure. In fact, I'm surprised it doesn't require someone to stand there and hold a button the entire time.

So.......why not a real set?? Suppose you got yer neighbor factor and all but c'mon..This guy needs some friends and a place to practice-shit, even a cover band makes regular coin!!
