I love the song, but I thought it was lame to call it an atheist song. A Christmas song for EVERYONE fits it much better Merry Xmas sift.
The writer and singer of the song is an atheist and many of his songs deal with religion from an atheist view...so more accurate then lame.

Definitely, and without question, this is the best song I've heard from Minchin. Sentimental, but with just a touch of his quirky humor...this is what Christmas songs should be.
