the CG looks SUPER bad.

If the 2 guys were different races/cultures, it might say something about how we should all get along.

And while the Asian guy reading the book didn't look like FreddieW, I was still expecting some crazy CG contraption that turned the chair into a trap and got both the guys.

Jesus christ we need more of this! I will happily pay for corny movies with great cg like this vs great cg movies that are just plain bad. I mean it SEEMS like someone with a shit load of money was like "Dude..the internet loves this guy... we gotta fund the next movie but bigger and badder!"

I really wish they could get their CG together. That looks terrible.

Not just you. Also looks like a prototype being lifted by a crane in some shots. The propellers look too small to lift that mass.
I was also suspicious that they had so much footage under various lighting conditions. The twilight shots especially, which are dangerous conditions to fly under. Could be we're wrong, and just be artful CG for the sake of a fundraising video?

Sorry, I only saw your question now. I think i saw it on imgur the first time https://imgur.com/gallery/WSBBL2X and then looked for the video on youtube. I must say that it fooled me at first then I noticed how they were walking in relation to the road and realised it was CG

I was thinking something more like a controlled liquid viscosity combined with different weighted balls. Sad to see its just a cg render.

I had assumed some optical trickery... e.g. the balls are all the same colour but they appear different colours depending on which pit they fall into.
