Cluster Bomb vs Cement Mixer
Exactly. The term "CLUSTER" means more than one of these were deployed. According to this post (of which I don't even believe the numbers) 90% of them detonated. That's a lot of shit getting blown up. Do you know if you are in that area? Do you let your children pick up things in that area? Even geico cavemen would know .... ohhh explody things there .... that bad.
Look, I agree it's tragic that any innocent civilian should suffer from war. And personally I don't make a distinction between man, woman or child. No innocent should suffer. But, trying to label it as if we planted toys that blow kids up is beyond stupid and completely uninformed. It's the exact opposite of reality.
Noam Chomsky on Pornography

As to the long-term affect: porn has been with us since cavemen painted on walls and I see it as a part of the (adult) human experience.
That's like saying farming has been with us for thousands of years, so we know what the effect of industrial farming and genetic manipulation are going to be, it's simply not true. Pornography is now a large scale profit driven industry seeing exponential growth (so far) and that is unprecedented.
So you're equating genetic manipulation in farming with the mere expansion of a ten-thousand year old practice? Just checking.
And yes, just because a certain type of porn exists (a type you or I might not find pleasant) does not vilify the entire industry.

I laughed a bit at the comparison of porn actors to farm animals!
I can see your point but the difference is that the humiliation is felt and projected by only the viewer. Is porn exploitative? Certainly. But that's not to say all of it is humiliating.

Rottenseed can use Windows Paint?
I was under the impression he skulked in public bathrooms and stole wet shit to use on his canvas (aka piss-stained bedsheet). Finger-painting, naturally. Or that technique the cavemen used, where they masticated the drawing materials in their mouth and then spat it out onto the wall to make *quality art.

The rejection show: Fred Flintstone
When I say beg I mean beg. This is a sift commenter arguing about how cavemen use cavecars. Its absurd and self-referential; definitely worthy of three more upvotes.
Also, if you vote for this video I'll rub your bunions.
Bud Light - Wheel Suck (superbowl commercial)
kinda fucked up, but hey, be glad you're getting 200 views a day!
maybe if you called it, just "bud light cavemen (superbowl ad)"?
"wheel people"?
"bud light cavemen rape your soul"?
Stand up: Fred Flintstone
And I suppose it would be much easier for me to get to work without "carrying" my bicycle as well.
To be fair, the principle is a little different - but it's the same general idea. It's well known that cavemen had tons of fast twitch muscle fiber but little endurance. Fred could probably only run a hundred feet, but could give his car a tremendous push of speed every 15 seconds or so without difficulty (just watch him get started for an idea of how much force he can generate).
And the clip with the bus was misleading: they tilted the picture. Really the bus is going up a hill at that point, so the driver had the rear wheel folded up. Most of the caveman bus routes we've discovered followed the pattern of short uphill sections followed by long, coasting downhills - which again matches well with caveman physiology.

The Bush 9/11 Split Screen Video - My Pet Goat - WTC attacks
"Don't insult our military's capabilities and readiness. They are always ready,"
Well, obviously they weren't that day were they? That's the kind of attitude that got you attacked in the first place. The thought that you were untouchable. It's also the reason the stupid truth movement exists. Because you were so sure you were untouchable, you've got it into your heads, the only way this could happen, was if someone on "the inside" was involved. But, all evidence points to: 19 'cavemen'(as the truth movement likes to call them) hijacking 4 planes, and flying them into 3 buidings. Not a single shred of evidence indicates otherwise.
"despite warnings that this type of attack could happen"
Key word there is COULD. Not 'will', not 'was going to', but 'could'. I COULD win the lottery, doesn't mean i'm going to.
The Geico cavemen are getting their own show. Seriously.
From YouTube:
Produced by ABC Studios and Management 360, the series is scheduled to air on October 2, 2007 on Tuesday nights at 8:00/7:00c on ABC.
The ABC Studios-produced comedy will launch not with the pilot but with another yet-to-be-filmed first episode, which is said to be delving more into the cavemen's backstories, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The original pilot (with Jamie's scenes reshot) is expected to air later in the season.
Cavemen revolves around Joel, his younger brother Andy and best friend Nick. Joel is engaged to Kate. Even though he has some problems with her conservative parents accepting him, he is happy with his life and pursuing the American Dream. The pilot is based on the Geico commercials that claim their service is so easy, "Even a caveman can do it".
