I don't have too much, I have enough, but I still share with those who i feel don't. I've housed multiple friends for free, and even let one live in my yard for 7 years, which in retrospect was at least 5 years too many. My wife and I live comfortably on <$30000 a year. I did go to school for 24 years (preschool -the ten year plan at Jr college) but never tried hard or practiced, to the point where my trig teacher insisted I was cheating because I didn't pay attention or do homework so she separated me for a big test, the class average dropped a full grade but not me, my neighbors were cheating off me. She left me alone after that. That might be preparations, but it wasn't hard work. It was boring busy work.

I did that, read encyclopedias and dictionaries. That was punishment at my school through 7th grade....but my grandmother read her set through twice for fun. My mother was called "the encyclopedia" in school, with good reason.

I definitely let opportunities pass often. Sometimes because I don't need them and others might, sometimes I'm just lazy and happy so see no need to expend effort, usually because I see opportunities as traps, the bait being some modest short term gain, the cage being large long term obligations. I'm always prepared for opportunities that are for me without preparation. I'm not Trumpian, I understand I have limitations, and don't tend to obligate myself beyond them.

Honestly, the only one that made a real difference was the cage. A 4 or 3 point seatbelt would have been sufficient thanks to a deep racing seat, and most rolls were due to super soft silt grabbing the outside tires in a turn....that scrubed a lot of speed right away and made the final hit extra soft, a few were on hardpacked dirt, but they were short course so maybe 30-40 mph entry speed instead of 60+, around 20 by the time my side hit ground.

Do jeeps not come with roll bars anymore? Mine has a full cage with 4 point seatbelts, it's nearing 50 years old.

I'm also curious to see other cars tested this way. I bet most flop over in this test, that or have the front wheel or crash wall inside the cab at the end. Yes, 4x4s roll easier, but most are made stronger AND have extra safety like roll bars. If you wear a seatbelt, you wouldn't be ejected.

The cradle I'm not certain, but it's likely some flux holding cage that cleans the surface of any contaminants when heated. (Seems like it's probably a boric acid cleaner judging by the bluing video) The tray holds brass shavings and uses heat to blue the parts. The shavings make it a more even heat treatment for more uniform color than a bare torch or oven can produce. The color he achieves is astounding.

Unlikely. I'm no lawyer, but minimal investigation showed.....
First they would have to prove damages, then overcome privilege (both absolute and qualified) then prove it wasn't just 1 a statement made in good faith, 2 opinion, 3 mere vulgar abuse, 4 a fair comment on a matter of public interest.
Since Trump has executive absolute privilege, a history of spouting nonsense no one believes, and a history of believing any crazy thing, he's certainly shielded from defamation laws.

Yeah, I saw something that suggested this was filmed in July, so you'd think there was more information. All the news I can find on it, just report about the "viral video", with no results on when and where for sure. You'd think that the company itself, or people there that day, would have seen it gone viral and put info out by now... though unless it was the company itself, it'd be harder to vet.

I'd wager the driver was okay in the cage, might have broke a bone or two, but otherwise was okay. The guy in yellow on the right would be the bigger concern, as he was buried. Near the very end you see somebody in black making a run across the far right as the last section collapses.

The crazy thing is, the shelf was barely hit. You probably hit it harder when putting pallets up. It must have been the perfect combo of angle and velocity, then add to that the tension on the legs given the way it was stacked and voila, disaster.

I would like the person or persons who designed and built her crash cage to build every damn thing I drive, live in, or have to fly.
