Like I said...so many times you've posted things as if your videos were reading my mind.
Found this today, tried to post it, but was relieved to see that you had already given it a go.
Cheers.

Bittersweet. If you didn't have the lows you wouldn't be able to feel the highs.

bukowski: to the whore who took my poems
i have a crush on my mailman. i blame bukowski.
>> ^enoch:
god i love bukowski.
he is that broken man on the porch that you stop to have a smoke with and his stories have such a bittersweet sadness to them.his voice carries you off into reflection.
the man may have been a postal worker but he knew his heart and he shared it with the world.

This is one the great songs of my childhood. Growing up, my sister and I had it a bit rough, but we always had our Irish folk songs tapes. She and I would act out all the verses to this song, and then do a little arm in arm jig during the chorus. When I picked up the guitar a few years ago, this was one of the first songs I learned. I can't believe someone Sifted it. You've made my weekend, sir.

Emo Symphony
My friend's comment - "why am I laughing, this is horrible. It feels wrong to laugh, but it feels so good."
Gives new meaning to "Bittersweet Symphony."
Play yourself off, Keyboard Cat
No one talks much about the melancholy/bittersweet nature of the tune. Sorry to hear about the kitty. He leaves behind a substantial legacy.
Los Campesinos - You! Me! Dancing!
Yay! Fire into the crowd! yay! Global destruction! This is confusingly bittersweet.
But mostly sweet.
Scott Kesterson's "At War" -- trailer #2
wonderfully bittersweet.
And now it's just me... (Blog Entry by youdiejoe)
So sorry Joe. I lost my dad 4 years ago Thanksgiving.... It makes the holidays bittersweet doesn't it. As painful as it can be, the wonderful part of it all is everything you've loved about them all is a part of you... and now you have the privilege to share it all with your son.
I hope tomorrow you have a beautiful Christmas him.

also, the Verve's "Bittersweet Symphony" was a rip off of Rolling Stone's "The Last Time"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q9QgpXhezIc
Quoted from: http://www.8notes.com/biographies/verve.asp
"The single was also very popular in the US, topping the charts at #12 (their highest position ever in the Billboards). The song, which borrows a looped sample of a symphonic recording of the Rolling Stones' 'The Last Time', was the soundtrack for many in the summer of 1997 and is considered one of the finest songs ever written."
So it seems it was an intentional rip off since it was sampled.
This is more of a blatant melody rip-off of Sat's music.
But like others have said, you can do look all day long and find hundreds of songs that have the same melody lines. These days it's pretty hard to not unintentionally rip some person or another off. Zepplin, for years has been accused of ripping off old blues artists for some of their material.

Governator: We will maybe undo Prop 8
I do not care who fucks who, or who marries who. Its not me they are fucking, and its not me they attempting to marry.
I do not even care much for the institutions of marriage. Its mundane when you think that all we do is:
Go enjoy your life, however I understand that you may enjoy your life more by looking down on others.
Mundane vanities, money and status, violence and sex, purity and duality - The human Condition.
