12 yr. old Palestinian MC Abdul "Shouting At The Wall"

newtboy says...

Not if you excuse the invasion and takeover because they were DUE reparations, or even because they were fleeing the Nazis. I think reparations were due….by Germany, not Palestine.
Palestine paid them…and continues to pay them today.
It’s not feasible today, but it was directly after WW2, and that’s what we should have supported, even enforced.

Do you deny a massive influx of Jewish illegal immigrants invited by those who had been generously granted asylum? Do you deny they had the intent to take the land by force for a Jewish state? Do you deny most came after the war ended so weren’t fleeing war or Nazis? If not, where’s the disagreement? If so, citations please.

If they came illegally, absolutely, I object. If they came secretly intending to take the land of their benefactors by force, absolutely, I object. It was mostly in the later 40’s btw, largely AFTER the war ended. They weren’t fleeing Nazi persecution then.
Yes, when you come against the wishes of the local government intending to depose it, install your own, and expel the natives, that’s called invasion. That’s their history.

If I invite a refugee to live in my yard, and they invite their family, neighbors, and groups of armed militants who steal my house, land, and property and put me on skid roe, and the police turn a blind eye, even supporting the squatters because they’ve had it hard lately, do you think I have a right to get my friends to try to remove them, even if I wasn’t prepared to fight to the death unarmed and alone against their mob? If I do, do you still call me the aggressor? Come on. Don’t ignore the primary original crime that precipitated 70 years of atrocities.

Israel declared war by becoming a state by stealing one. I find it bullshit to blame the Palestinians neighbors for supporting their neighbor against a massive invasion and land grab by foreigners. Again, like Mexicans taking Texas back and you complaining if we tried to keep it, especially if we asked our Allie’s for help. Utter nonsense.

The Jewish people had already invaded and expelled the natives, removing all rights from any remaining. The two state solution = just go ahead and keep Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah because there’s already illegal immigrants there, in a few years you can have Kansas and Nevada, then keep expanding….those people are currently in Texas at this time. Again, you ignore the invasion, land theft, and expulsion to pretend Israel was already there…nonsense again.

Yes, it took more force to keep it from the armies of the allies of Palestine than it did to steal it from the recently liberated colony of Palestine that had no military. Duh.

What I see differently is I don’t ignore or forget the violent forced invasion by the Jewish zionists, nor the expulsion, theft from, and dehumanization of the natives, I don’t blame the natives for attempting to regain their ancestral home or properties that the Jewish state outright stole, nor do I ignore the horrific conditions those same people and their descendants have lived under for 70 years, constantly invaded further, no travel allowed, no imports, no water, no medicine, no weapons but treated like the aggressors and the criminal invaders for attempting to fight for THEIR OWN LAND, kept in shrinking ghettos, treated as sub humans to be exterminated, exactly what the Nazis did to the Jews but on a national level.

Gossar was just exposed for spending over $1 million for personal travel…more than any other representative including representatives from Guam who must fly to Guam regularly, far more than any other Arizona reps.
$11000 for lodging in one weekend.
These funds cannot be used for travel for political reasons, nor campaign reasons…but many of these expenditures came when he was attending such political events as CPAC and white nationalist political rallies in Florida.

This is one of your people who constantly (since the election) rails against wasteful or excessive spending….and is the worst offender. Why is it not a surprise?

The Vitamin D Paradox in COVID-19

newtboy says...

So if you synthesize your own through exposure to sunlight, you’re good? Or at least better off?
Is it possible that it’s not the delivery method, but the systems that use vitamin D being healthy beforehand vs being supplemented after the fact? Maybe it takes a while to get those systems healthy, and supplements don’t help with that.

Edit: Maybe, since the same receptors are used to metabolize vitamin D as to infect a cell with covid, those receptors being “full” might be what’s stopping infections, and dosing with vitamin D after infection doesn’t magically replace the Covid with vitamin D? Not really about vitamin D or why you need it, just about the mechanism the body uses to use the vitamin D? Biology is intricate, and why things work and how is not always clean and simple.

Melatonin? Then why aren’t people with more melatonin, people of color, nearly immune? Why are island nations like the Virgin Islands still having outbreaks today? Why were Southern states hit just as hard or harder than northern states? Many questions here.

His explanation seems to confirm this. If your cells produce vitamin D efficiently, they are less prone to infections, if you artificially add artificial vitamin D, it helps with the cellular functions, but the processes that should be producing it are still suppressed, possibly more because your body isn’t triggering them due to low vitamin D levels. It’s less about overall vitamin D levels than about having healthy systems that properly produce and utilize it….at least that’s my takeaway.

It’s not just about sunlight..it’s about diet, overall health, sleep, etc. biology is complex, and we always want a simple solution. There isn’t one most of the time, and our attempts to simplify only make things worse. Eat well, sleep well, get some sun, get some exercise, and you’ll be as safe as you can be naturally….then try supplements in addition, not instead.

I get plenty of sun, and my windows are from the 50’s. It definitely makes me feel better to get sun, but there’s a limit. Don’t just go sunbathe in Arizona, use your brain.

Pence Finally Tells The Truth

bobknight33 says...

Pence cannot overturn the election . He just oversees the House according to the Electoral Count Act. If there are objections it also needs a Senate member joining in. Then a challenge can occur and the electoral vote could be changed.

In 2016 there were Democrat house members objections but had no senators support.

In 2020 House members and Senate members had objected. Pence at that point would be obligated to follow the rules set in the Electoral Count Act and allowed the debate, which he did not do.
https://www.vox.com/2021/1/6/22218058/republicans-objections-election-results

"six Republicans in the Senate and 121 in the House backed objections to certifying Arizona’s electoral outcome, while seven Senate Republicans and 138 House Republicans supported an objection to certifying Pennsylvania’s electoral outcome."

Vote While It Counts

spawnflagger says...

my favorite was the Arizona "recount" where Cyber Ninjas tallied 99 additional votes for Biden and 261 fewer votes for Trump than previously counted...

some other "findings" in their report also debunked:
https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/factcheck/2021/09/28/fact-check-arizona-audit-affirms-biden-win-doesnt-prove-voter-fraud/5846640001/

Why is it so hard to believe that people who were going to vote for Trump would listen to what he was preaching for weeks and months beforehand, and go vote in-person on the day; whereas people who were going to vote for Biden believed COVID-19 was actually real and more likely to use mail-in voting because it's safer and more convenient?
Here's a good explanation of the whole "quadrillion" BS by a British mathematician: https://youtu.be/ua5aOFi-DKs

And now Republicans in at least 5 states have been caught having submitted matching forged election documents, Georgia, Nevada, Arizona (twice), Wisconsin, and Michigan. These forgeries, complete with forged seals from their respective states, attempted to “certify” fraudulent electors from those states that intended to cast their electoral votes for Trump despite their states voting for Biden, that vote being certified, and the real electors being certified.
Pennsylvania too, but they didn’t try to claim they were the electors, they claimed they would be the electors if a court invalidated the election results….created at the direct personal request of the DJTrump campaign.

Jeff Clark, of the DOJ, drafted a letter telling states to hold off on certification because the DOJ was investigating election irregularities…..but they weren’t and the DOJ head, the AG, refused to sign off, so Trump accepted his resignation, the resignation of the assistant AG, and tried to install Clark so they could send this fraudulent letter about a non existent investigation of non existent election fraud. In that letter he referenced the “second set of electors” two weeks after these forgeries were submitted to congress and elsewhere but long before that was public knowledge.

Another few attempts by Republicans to subvert democracy.

Apparently Trump also flew the idea of having the national guard confiscate all voting machines and rerunning the election (until he won).

Why the entire party isn’t banned from holding office is beyond me, your representatives all undeniably violated (and continue to violate) section 3 of the 14th amendment, and you’ll never get 2/3 of congress to let that slide.

No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

For the few that weren’t directly involved in the failed coup, the “aid and comfort” clause covers their behavior since.

LMFAHS! More Cybernews.
Apparently the shutdown of Cyber Ninjas was a long term plan by CEO Doug Logan, known because he texted his plan to Republican president of the Senate in Arizona Karen Fann, as his way to escape 1) the toxic reputation his fiasco of a company has earned 2) the court order to turn over all records (he’s now claiming he doesn’t understand what “all records related to the 2020 election audit” means) 3) the millions in fines and debts he’s racked up 4)personal bankruptcy and now 5) death threats from Trumpists irate he didn’t say Trump won.
He’s dumb enough to think he can close shop, never comply with the courts, then just reopen under a new name, quietly rehire the same people, and move to another county/state to try this scheme again….and dumb enough to text all of that plan to a government phone, making it public record.

Trump’s best and brightest, and the right’s best hope of validation. 🤦‍♂️

bobknight33 (Member Profile)

newtboy says...

Big surprise, Cyber Ninjas closed. They say it’s because they’re getting daily multiple death threats from Trump terrorists, but it’s also to escape massive debts and fines.
Their results showed hundreds of more votes for Biden…like the others.
According to Maricopa county, cyber ninjas made 22 misleading claims, 41 inaccurate claims and 13 claims that were just totally false. The county said cyber ninja made faulty conclusions about more than 53,000 ballots in 22 different categories.
The company is now closed, owning the county $7500000 and rising at $50000 per day in fines for refusing to turn over their work….still…since August.
Not to mention the nearly $7 million they cost the county by invalidating every voting machine they touched.

This is why, since you once asked, these fake unofficial partisan audits shouldn’t be allowed. They’re expensive, they erode trust in democracy (something Republicans have already irreparably harmed on multiple fronts) and no matter what their results they won’t change any minds….you still think Trump won Arizona despite every scintilla of evidence and your (and multiple official audits) audit screaming otherwise.
I hope the CEO has to pay his company’s debts or be held in contempt….but being Republican I expect him to slip away and leave the now over $14 million price tag for their idiotic fiasco for taxpayers to pay….Trump hasn’t paid one dime for audits from the tens of millions he raised to fight election fraud, it’s all still in his wallet (or paid to his creditors).
Proud?

5200 Drone light show, Breaking 4 World Records - High Great

StukaFox says...

If you watch this and feel anything but complete terror, you're missing the point. An AI controlled drone swarm is a military nightmare: you can blind radar; shut down comms; interrupt C3 at a crucial moment.

The things that can be done with a thousand cheap drones and some basic AI can render billion-dollar military systems moot in the event of real combat. The US Navy is already shitting themselves over this (there's already been a few incidents, most recently off the coast of San Diego), and the USAF isn't far behind. Serious drones incidents -- from unknown attackers -- have happened in the US. This including an attempted attack on a power station and a bizarre cat-and-mouse game between USBP/HLS and an unidentified "super drone" over Arizona on more than one occasion.

Did you notice what they were displaying? This wasn't meant to be oo-aah cute, this was China telling the US military they fuck around at their own risk. The last time someone sent a message this clearly, Billy Mitchell was flying a biplane over a captured German destroyer.

"Far less chance for severe mishaps, too" -- I know you meant something totally different, but in the case of what I'm talking about, the exact opposite holds true.

cloudballoon said:

These drones light shows are feeling samey-samey real fast, no "wow" factor anymore to me just like fireworks, though they can convey any messages (propaganda?) far more clearly and inventively if done right. But at least these drones get reused events after events. Hopefully the environmental impact is less than fireworks at the end of the their days.

Far less chance of severe mishaps too.

Lake Mead At Historic Low, Expect Water Shortages

newtboy says...

The California state water board just announced that farms will receive 0% of their allocation in 2022 from state run sources in both the earliest and lowest allocation announcement.

ZERO. Only the bare minimum for sanitary conditions in many otherwise completely dry communities, up to 55gal per day per person if they’re granted emergency access.

This is on top of the major cuts from sources like the Colorado river, already cut completely from Arizona and Nevada farmers, and with California aquifers rapidly running dry.
California is by far the largest food producing state, producing over 13% of all food in America (by value) and nearly 100% of many staple foods and beverages. Along with the near complete halt to farming in neighboring states, it’s impossible to imagine this won’t dramatically affect both food costs and quality in America for the foreseeable future.

This is inflation due to predicted climate change, @bobknight33 , in case you need someone to blame…and since inflation is suddenly an issue for you. Biden asked for funding to address it, and got not one Republican vote. Clearly inflation isn’t important to Republican representatives unless it’s inflation of yacht prices.

Derp….this is the Republican led Arizona state senate, not DC. It’s not a choice, he was subpoenaed. It’s a jailable offense to ignore a subpoena. He should have shown up and plead the fifth, like most criminals do….or plead ignorance of literally everything he’s asked like Trump, who couldn’t answer a single question about his businesses or business dealings.

Odd, when it’s a Democrat, like say Clinton, you say they have a total obligation to testify under oath before a pure partisan Republican committee without being subpoenaed and any hint they won’t is a total admission of guilt….but if it’s a Republican they should ignore subpoenas and never testify under any circumstance, even subpoenas from other Republicans, even from the senate that hired them, and never ever submit to any examination of their methods or blatant biases, mistakes, grift, and failures doing the job the state hired them to do….and threaten anyone who considers testifying, and their families.

Why? The real audits already verified everything for non conspiracy nut jobs. Why spend $12 million a pop to replicate a horrendous, unprofessional, unofficial, idiot filled, false leak generator except to continue the big lie in moron’s heads and steal more of their money?

Prove it. It’s the figures the state senate produced, $6 million paid to cyber ninjas($1 million by the state, $5 million by groups trying to invalidate a valid election for political purposes). $3 million in invalidated voting machines, another $3 million in other related machinery and computers they invalidated. There are certainly other costs not included, so yes, it is misleading, the true full cost is higher.

Typical knee jerk reactionary refusal to accept facts you don’t like without even the slightest interest as to their veracity…..or so you understand, typical of you to cry fake news because truth and fact makes Bobby cry hurt.

As usual, you have it over 1/2 wrong. And that’s always your problem.

Prove it, because they didn’t prove any of that. Not a single claim that they made included proof, nor were they made as firmly as you make them, nor were the numbers anywhere near what you claim. They said there were possible inappropriate votes, but they weren’t sure because they aren’t election professionals who understand elections.

Still a fake, fraudulent, unprofessional vote review, not a professional forensic audit, and every claim they made of possible fraud or inappropriate vote handling was found to be their inexperience in understanding how votes are tabulated, for instance claiming because two people are named John Smith and both voted, one of their votes is fraudulent, etc. remember the 75000 unregistered mail in votes they told you they found?! These people have suckered you all to the tune of over $6 million, and cost the county another $6 million in voting equipment they ruined permanently. You continue to eat the shit pies they keep feeding you.

Their final result showed they found absolutely no proof of fraud, only possibilities of frauds (and that only because they don’t understand the safeguards in place to prevent them), and they admitted as much in the report, that every questionable result may well be due to their own ignorance of the laws and processes and terms used by election officials, and what they’re sure of is they widened the gap by 360 more votes for Biden than the official results.

All of this was reported in the real news, maybe not OAN. So sorry. You and Trump lost again. Bigly. I know both of you are too small of a man to admit it. We all know it, Bob.

Yes The machines counted correctly. They counted every real and invalid vote.
And that's the problem.

Dr. V.A. Shiva Ayyadurai, M.I.T. PhD, and his team found 34,448 votes from those who voted more than once in Arizona in the 2020 election.
17,000 votes that NEVER should have been included in the audit!

Enough to change an election.

Also most of these occurred / counted after Nov 4. 4th to the 12th.

Also:
57,000 votes and 734 pallets with serious issues were identified in the audit.
Not to mention deleted files and network connections,

So there is the possibility of an invalid vote count.
But fake news wont report it.

They did however to their credit condemned this audit as a hoax fraud and scheme and scam until the event. Now then incorrectly claim Biden won with out mentioning the the reality of the truth.

Well, you've got your review results, or as you call it, forensic audit results, finally released.....their results closely match the original count, and the official audit results....actually widening Biden's lead by 360 votes!!! All fraud they found was eventually found to be just their misunderstanding of election laws, terminology, and procedures. Most of their recommendations are already state law. ROTFLMFAHS!!!!!

Now what?!

I'll tell you now what, now Biden is refusing to use executive privilege to hide Trump's Whitehouse communications surrounding Jan 6 (it's up to the current president, not the former one). I'm willing to bet the reason Trump wants it hidden is he's got one Hell of a lot to hide. Sucks to be bunker baby.

The numerous real audits done in multiple states are proof enough that there was no significant fraud. Also the lack of any evidence of fraud. I don’t have to prove it didn’t happen, you have to prove it did, and you’ve got nothing, bumpkis, nada, zip, zilch, zero. Extraordinary claims demand extraordinary evidence, not just a liar shouting it angrily.

Then I guess no one will ever know when happened, because I’m not doing a full forensic audit. The multiple professional bipartisan state run audits satisfied me not only when, but what happened. A legitimate secure election.

Democrats and Republicans have done multiple real, professional, bipartisan audits and found almost nothing, just a few Republican frauds.

What are you trying to say? You devolved into babble.

Again, Democrats AND Republicans have done actual audits in multiple states including Arizona that found nothing significant. They took the opportunity to shame him along with every sane person in the country back in December.

Cyberninjas, a hyper partisan propaganda company with absolutely zero audit experience (not who anyone would ever hire if they wanted to be taken seriously) hired to do this unofficial unprofessional unbelievably partisan vote review, has also found nothing or they would have been ready ahead of the deadline and prepared to testify from their death beds. Instead they say they still haven’t started their report, almost 4 weeks after the deadline, use every excuse in the book to delay, but have time to party with state senators and take your money.

What are you talking about with “However wont touch this opportunity. Telling.”?
The opportunity to wait to hear some more nonsense from an unprofessional, biased review done by a partisan propaganda company without oversight that’s already proven itself to be a joke through it’s own leaks?
It’s telling that they aren’t entertaining Trumpists delusional insanity? What?!

bobknight33 said:

How do you know it did not happen?
Unless you do a full forensic audit no one can tell when exactly happened.

Sadly Democrats are afraid to look and verify and hence shame Trump on this. Makes one wonder They have shamed him at every chance, every opportunity, even after the election. However wont touch this opportunity. Telling.

To me, it's like having a float of a burning sinking USS Arizona at a Pearl Harbor anniversary event, or worse.
I do see a distinction, especially since those lost in NY on 9/11 didn't heroically go down fighting the enemy. There's little to celebrate about the image.

I'm not sure exactly what is in bad taste about this. I see many war memorials where soldiers have either been attacked or in the middle of being attacked. I don't see the distinction between the buildings and the soldiers.
