Want to hear something redneck? I got the Peace Sells album cover airbrushed on the back of my jean jacket when I was in high school, but the guy who did it sucked ass and had Vic Rattlehead looking more like Urkel. Later I just bought an acid wash jacket when I could afford it and decided to go the safe route with a Megadeth iron on. You can't fuck those up.

This number always seemed like the most ignored song on "Paranoid" (their second, and IMHO best LP by far). Nevertheless (or maybe even therefore), one of my favorites, and one that would probably have been the best song on any of their later albums.

Thinking of the recent "favorite album covers" thread on the Talk, "Paranoid" needs a nomination for one of the worst covers of all time, or at least the hugest gap between art and music quality.

I always loved the old man on the cover of Kansas Leftoverture. Some others are Supertramp's Breakfast in America, the Pulp Ficton soundtrack, and I love ALL of Boston's, Journey's and ELO album covers. Yeah, they're sorta trans am drivin rednecky.. but what can I say? I never said I was cultured

Confession: me too!

His 3 albums are some of the most valued treasures of my 90s CD collection, so I couldn't help jumping back on the old 900-foot bandwagon by posting another of his videos. Didn't know he used to have long hair!

Blue Note records, too many to name, all some of the most artful and candid shots of the great jazzmen.....

oh and, you kids and yer cd inserts.....those are not album covers-Nothing beats the look, feel, and flavor of vinyl, and a 12"-plus sleeve to handle and pass on to yer rugrats......
