The Hopscotch Experiment
I saw this on the local news tonight. I didn't know it was Seattle! Makes me kind of surprised anyone participated. Must have been tourists ... and those construction workers? Must have been drunk ...
Foreigner Surprising Indians with Hindi (Smiles Galore)
I've found that Mexicans (especially outside of major tourist areas, but even there) LOVE it if visitors attempt to speak Spanish with them, even just a few words.
Thailand is pretty similar. I've lived here for ~10 years and can speak Thai fairly well. So, many locals know me and aren't surprised when I speak Thai with them, but if I travel I get a lot of smiles just like this video.
I guess French people are stereotypically less patient/pleased to deal with visitors trying to use the local language, but I don't know if that's true. Never been there, unless Quebec counts (where it didn't seem true).
Royal guard punches annoying guy.
Seems like an extreme reaction. I assume the dude was a tourist.
This immediately came to mind
Russians doing sketchy sh*t
If this is from Russia, I think they're tourists. Russians don't use parachutes. They'd climb down that vertical cable using their balls.
Also, I think this cable set up is for catching low-flying aircraft trying to sneak, nap-of-earth, during the cold war. Either that or it's the World's most epic rope swing.
John Oliver - Australia's Postal Survey
There's really only two arguments against SSM.
1: "I think the institution of marriage is pointless". Great, then don't get married, but kindly fuck off and don't tell the rest of us how to live our lives.
2: "Gay people are icky". Not actually an argument, but at least you're being honest.
On the plus side, there's every chance that this insane waste of money will actually bring an end to the current Australian government. Literally everyone I've talked to in Australia (been there for work recently) thinks this postal vote is a massive waste of taxpayer money. The vast majority are perfectly fine with SSM, and even those against SSM know that this is pointless.
OTOH, if Australia does decide that it really does decide that it wants to continue being a backward, homophobic, rock-on-fire-that-no-one-should-live-in*, well that's just more tourist dollars for NZ!
* just kidding... there are some parts of Australia that are only mildly racist!
Fake but utterly terrifying

I've not seen any real proof that having a royal family living in the palace is a deal-breaker for tourists. And so I've also never seen any proof that they provide a net gain to the country because they get fecking millions in subsidies, security, and all the land and positions they own 'by divine right'.
They royalty are public servants - you would never catch me bowing to any of them, or treating them any differently than i would a stranger - respectfully, as equals.
As far as i'm concerned, they've got the luckiest life in the world by birthright, which goes completely against everything i believe in. So they better do a lot of charity work and never complain about it - which to be fair they have done, but only because they know they're on thin ice and will be summarily dethroned if they act up. Especially at a time like this.
the monarchy, as powerless as they really are, contribute millions (billions?) of pounds to their country from tourism alone.
Thieves in Germany Nowadays
Before this one there was an Indian one - https://youtu.be/F4va4Me4FFM - and another from, Malaysia maybe? - https://youtu.be/u7kwS3ZbvNQ
There might be a real one that inspired these, or it could just be a funny story that someone told. "I stole this tourist's wallet and then saw the CCTV camera turned towards me,...", "hah, funny story, hey lets film a version of this to get views."

Street Musician inspires Dancer, encouraged by her father
Description (partial) from this yt video:
"This is Rima Baransi with her family in Trieste, Italy.
This is her father Assad Baransi recording the video and encouraging her to dance to the music. They were visiting the town as tourists.
The song being performed is entitled “Comptine D'un Autre Eté: l'Après Midi” by Yann Tiersen: https://youtu.be/W5_xFH5wqKM
English translation of what is said:
Dad: C'mon Rima! c'mon! Here I am filming, c'mon Rima for god's sake! For my sake! For my sake! C'mon start! [Do it!], C'mon Daddy (here its normal for the Dad to call his offspring "Dad", and the Mom calls them "Mom")"
i did find one video with her dancing. Start @2:40 https://youtu.be/dnfG75sRZXw
