I think Bill Maher is exactly right. He wants to be the first Mormon president...that's the long and the short of it.

I live in Utah of course and I can tell you from FIRST-HAND knowledge that there are many Mormons that shoot up through the Mormon hierarchy (theocracy) and they DO NOT care about anyones problems unless you know them on a personal level; they just want to get to the next level...

Mitt has exuded a terrible personality from day one, even back here, in Salt Lake City when he *saved* the Winter Olympics. Which is what launched him into his governor position; boy did people fall for that shtick, "Hey, but wait, I FIXED the Olympics! I'm a national hero!". That is how he basically thinks, ego first everything else second. How he treats his dog on trips just implies that it's true...

I swear Mitt is either a sociopath OR has narcissistic personality disorder traits. No matter what he talks about on a personal level, he CANNOT relate, at all to anyone. It's quite disquieting, atleast to me.

Respectfully disagree with your respectful disagreement. There is nothing wrong with despising someone for being a terrible person, which shiny has clearly demonstrated that he is. OTOH, he is condemning millions of people he has never interacted with purely because of their sexual orientation.

Even though I know about all the horrible things that this man has done to his country, the tens of thousands of Libyans who have suffered directly because of this man, and the hundreds of people that were killed by terrorist actions he orchestrated, I still felt disturbed when I saw what he was going through. He only got a tiny taste of the terror he has inflicted upon the world, but at the same time he was still a 69 year old man begging for mercy.

Yes, he was a terrible person. But it is situations like this magnified thousands of times that made him a monster. I think they missed an opportunity to step above this man and to reject him that much more completely.

It was only a matter of time before something like this happened.
Some of these rally's are peaceful but I can tell you as a motorist I'd be really REALLY pissed off if I got stuck behind a bunch of cyclists blocking the road. All of these people could take up one lane, but no, they choose to take up the entire street. Who cares about people that have to get to work? The buses carrying the masses maybe to the THEIR jobs, or home to their families? No, lets prove a point by completely stopping a major form of transportation.
I'm sorry but these people deserve what they got and I hope it happens at more of these gatherings where they block whole intersections and lanes of traffic.
I support everyones freedom to transport themselves anyway they want. I believe wherever possible we should have lanes that support cyclists. But this is NOT the way to do it.

What're you talking about? Paramedics are now magicians who appear instantly when a person gets hurt? They take at least a few minutes to get to the scene. I mean the fuckers who remain seated, didn't even shift in their seats, and just watch the guy jump, and couldn't care less.
