That's not a straight up VR World. Tron's more a fantasy universe like Middle Earth or the Star Wars Galaxy then a literal digital landscape. The "people" (minus one) are various bits of programming codes and scripts, etc.

If you try to think of their world as a Second Life or something certain things wont make sense. It's a fantasy universe using the internals of computer systems as the backdrop.

Plus that's taking place in a Light Cycle arena (game map), hence all the obstacles and spiral paths.

There is no "driver behind the eyes", so to speak, but I know what you're getting at. Purely theoretically, molecules could form that made up the exact same "self" as the one I have now. But I don't see the difference between reincarnation and this? I don't think this could ever happen. The complexity involved is so enormous the the statistical chance of it being able to happen (again) is close to nothing.

Of course, in a "resurrection of the body" type environment, such things would be possible.

That the molecules in our body may one day organize themselves in another living being is, well, obviously true. We were not "nothing" before, our molecules were scattered into other things. Our bodies are constantly getting new energy and burning of energy, which shows that we do "get" new molecules, which can easily have been in someone else at some point in time - this does not mean that I have had past lives, or that my consciousness is anything else than a process of my body and brain. When the machine breaks the software dissipates.

No problem! I like to scour the recent comments when I have nothing better to do, and you seem to do a lot for helping steer conversations on contentious topics towards a more productive direction.

I use zbrush primarily for my stuffs. Still learning my way through maya (previously I had used 3ds max, which I'm really tired of and not willing to upgrade on, so here I go again!) Zbrush has some second life sculptie export tools available for it, too from what I understand.

Found the second one in "related videos" and searched for "TV has no idea". I could also remember watching it, so I had a rough idea what it was named. It's all about braaaiiin powaaah.
