I'm on book three of the Song of Ice and Fire series. It's good stuff, even if you aren't a big fantasy fan.

I cleaned out a Borders that was going out of business, so Carthy McCormic (Blood Meridian and others), Dan Ariely (whatever his newest book is) and Chris Hedges (Death of the Liberal Class) are in the queue.

Other notealble read this year were Naomi Klein's brilliant 'Shock Doctrine' and Dan Ariely's fun 'Predictably Irrational'. 'Jonathan Livingston Seagull' was a quick but cool vintage read too.

On the TV front, I also finally got around to watching Eastbound and Down, Tim and Eric's Awesome Show (behind the times, yes, I know) and the Walking Dead. All cool shows.

Got to sleep now, driving home from MT tomorrow morning with isserkitter.

They seemed to be pretty nice to the bird except for catching it of course. We kill millions of animals each day including a lot for bragging rights. This bird escaped unharmed except being afraid.

Flying Rats - Nothing more, nothing less.
And they carry the same diseases as rats too...

Comedy Central comes up with a Blocked notice so we know they are blocked.

Both of your two examples above (Springsteen & Seagulls) come up for me as saying "Oops. Video not available" - So to me, they look dead and not region Blocked. I would be inclined to mark them as Dead before I marked them as Blocked when I have know way of knowing.

I guess, when someone marks your vid as dead, just correct it as Blocked - then we'll know.

As far as I`m concerned, Blocked videos are as good-as-dead anyway - "they`re DEAD to me!"

Well sitting here in Canada and jonesing for some Terrance and Phillip the Springsteen video shows "Oops. Video no available" and the Flock of Seagulls video just shows a big blank space. So it looks like those bastards are blocking at the 49th parallel.

Ha.. Merv calls him Steve Seagull at the end.
