Springsteen Super Bowl Power Slide Fail
I didn't think that this was a huge fail! He was just rocking out in context, I think it fit in nicely.
Carry On My Wayward Son
a friend and i decided that when we are old and he is a pirate with a stripper tattoo on his chest and i am a stripper with a pirate tattoo on my chest, this will be our themesong. we will be rocking out in a topless powder blue 70s jeep blowing up dams and billboards from coast to coast, haywood style you know... maybe we should hire this girl to follow us around with a keyboard.
What's Your Wallpaper? (Geek Talk Post)
for the longest I had 'Star Wars Rock Band' on stage: http://giantmonster.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/01/star-wars-rock-out.jpg
Now I have a pic of the china and crystal my wonderful hubby gave me for xmas! :::kiss him:::
Zero Punctuation: Guitar Hero World Tour
Finally a game I can comment about.
I've played the guitar, and I also think the slider bar is useless. And I'm also annoyed that the playlist is weak, except for the three tracks from TOOL. I don't really like the 80s that much.
My main instrument is the drum set, and yes, the cymbal and hi-hat are ridiculously bad. After about five minutes of playing they stop picking up all the hits, which is absolutely detrimental to songs like "Everlong" by the Foo Fighters. Most of that song is the hi-hat, and catching every other note makes you fail hardcore.
But it's still fun while it lasts. I like Rock Band better, unless there's a real drum set somewhere. Then I ignore the video games and rock out for real. \m/

Bees create animated pattern to scare off hornets (6 sec)
If only I can make that a "visualization" option for window media player, then I can rock out to my tunes bee-style!
Who says Christians can't rock out.....

Once I tried to run,
I tried to run and hide,
But Jesus came and found me,
And he touched me down inside.
Did you at least call the cops? "Okay, son, where did Jesus touch you?"
I heard the lyrics and thought - Michael Jackson tried that and got nearly sent to prison for that
Stairway to Heaven on Harp - full version

oh yeah, just happens to be the BEST PART. I was waiting for it too.
I don't know, I think the "rock out" part kinda has to be missed. It would sound stupid/jeuvenile given the instrument. Now if she had someone on bass backing her...

Some of my parents records that I liked:
-Herb Alpert - Whipped Cream (I can't tell you how many hours I stared at that album cover)
-Nat King Cole
-John Denver
-Kenny Rogers
-Simon and Garfunkel - Bridge Over Troubled Water - I practically memorized every word to every song on that album, because it had the lyrics on the back
-LOTS of traditional Irish music records. My dad's parents were both from Ireland. The Irish Rovers were one of his favorites.
-Dean Martin

Ditto! Just replace Styx with Jethro Tull and Kansas with Motorhead, Maiden, and Priest. Prior to that it was my parent's records, Fats Domino, Beachboys, and Johnny Cash.

Did you ever have an extension cord for those big puffy cans? I had a 25-foot extension cord for my phones, so that I could wander all over my bedroom while I rocked out on "Glass Houses", my very first vinyl record. Followed by:
2. Styx - Paradise Theatre
3. AC/DC - Back In Black
4. Styx - Grand Illusion
5. Rush - Moving Pictures
6. Pink Floyd - The Wall
7. Van Halen - I
8. Pink Floyd - Dark Side Of The Moon
9. Pink Floyd - Meddle
10. Kansas - Leftoverture
11. Pink Floyd -Wish You Were Here
12. Rush - Permanent Waves
And the rest are kind of blur after that, but those were my first 12 disciples. I'll always remember.
You may be right, I may be crazy.

Nor did I fall asleep every night wearing big puffy headphones with the curly cord listening to an 8-track copy of Songs From the Attic that I bought at Bradlees with my lawn-mowing money. If you ever hear this rumor it is a complete fabrication.
