Vintage Mego 2-XL educational robot toy
2XL is a fking liar. Giraffes actually moo, but very quietly.
2XL can be made to rock out to a Loverboy 8-track but his eyes won't flash to the beat.
You've been warned.
What's your first memory of rock & roll? (Rocknroll Talk Post)
My grandmother was a big Moody Blues / Pink Floyd fan. That coupled with fond memories of rocking out to The Cars, Billy Idol and Pat Benatar with my mom when I was a youngin' has shaped much of my appreciation for rock and/or roll. It wasn't until my mom met my step dad a little later on that I was introduced to new wave and 2nd wave ska. When I got to high school, there was a big 3rd wave ska revival. Meanwhile I was rockin' the 1st wave and 2nd wave stuff, claiming to be too cool for that newer sh*t. That eventually lead to an interest in reggae music. Sublime was a very big influence on my life...
...I don't know why I like hip hop or house music. That's just random I guess.

I know.

This is a xylo rag composed by George Hamilton Green in the 1920s, when (believe it or not) xylophone music was a huge fad. I believe this one is called 'Log Cabin Blues'. Most percussion majors will get to do a couple of these in college (but with marimba accompaniment instead of bass) and they are very fun.

Dance Floor Dale
Come on, gwiz, that was an act of an uptight a-hole. What the hell?
This is merely a couple of scenes of single-couple softcore with blurry animations to cover it up.
Diesel XXX consists of MANY different scenes of hardcore xxx with animations of existing, sometimes well-known euphemisms for sexual activities (bananas, lipstick, etc.) covering it up. I'd definitely say that as far as children being exposed to porn, the other is a way worse offender. And yet you voted for it. Also, as far as intent to arouse goes, I can't honestly see how this would intend to do so, let alone succeed in that department.
Besides, disregard this - ant has already set precedent for animated eroticism, by submitting a clip of little cartoon girls masturbating.
But thanks for supporting this masterpiece while I was away, folks.
Saving Private Ryan mixed with Pink Floyd's Sheep
I was about to post this song with a slide show, but this is a lot better.
I used to rock out to this every night before a big game.
Blankfist family reunion (must see)

When I was a kid I worked in the library. Every day there was one rather affectionate couple with Down's Syndrome who clearly were in love. They would meet nearly every morning with a double cassette player and duo headphones, and a huge stack of cassettes, and they'd just sit there quietly, rocking out.
The typical playlist would look something like:
Buddy Holly's Greatest Hits
Stevie Wonder's Greatests
Metallica...
We knew it was a lie when you wrote "When I was a kid I worked..."

I'm a miserable old bastard (alien_concept even told me so), so chances are I'd only make things worse. So if you're up for trolling the fuck out of this place, let me know.

I like the way he's crossed his legs. Today he'd be rocking out and being lauded for reinventing the recorder. And collaborating with the Opera Babes.
I'm so cynical.
Help me!

This has already sifted, and therefore it's not eligible for The Great Unsifted Bravo playlist, but I'm strongly inclined to believe that you'll dig the hell out of it:

Kutiman - Babylon Band
This is my favourite of the seven. I'm tripping balls. SO GLAD you can find the tracks ripped in mp3. Rocking out my car stereo today.
Children Of Bodom - Are You Dead Yet?
At least I can rock out on this on Rockband! |m|_
Iron Maiden - Hallowed Be Thy Name (Live at Ullevi)
IRON F***ING MAIDEN!!! They still rock after all these years. I took my wife and my teenage son and one of his buddies to see them when they came thru town last year. It was awesome!!! I saw them for the first time during their Piece of Mind tour when I was my sons age. It's a really awesome feeling to rock out with your son at an Iron Maiden concert. Thanks for the clip!!!!!
