Pfftt gun shooting recreation is so lame...That's why I've moved on to cats.

In reply to this comment by kronosposeidon:
Wow, you brought back machine-gun kitty at the right time.

I wasn’t going to say anything because I would just be repeating what everyone else here has been saying....but fuck it.

First off, thanks for the catch on the typo maximillian! Without you I would have gone throughout life thinking “tough” was spelt “though” because by calling me ignorant based on a TYPO that must have been what you really assumed. You know, being articulate doesn’t save one from ignorance either.

I’m sure she’s downplaying herself here to portray that down home, gun toting, country girl image. Yeah...I don’t know a lot about this broad but she took the time and effort to create this stupid video. When I first saw this it read like a cheap car sales add. I mean look at her shoot away those high taxes!

Also, I am a female who grew up hunting and shooting guns in rural Montana. None of that made me more qualified for ANYTHING in life. I think women everyone should be admired for what they do in life…but being rich and buying guns and shooting them in the air isn’t really admirable or a good show of qualifications IMO.

Shooting expensive guns doesn’t make anyone more bad ass or though tough. Exactly why I put "yawn" as a tag…Lann is not impressed

Two Thousand and Fifty Four Nuclear Explosions (1945-1998)

cowboydan says...

That fallout map is awesome as a supplement to this. I grew up in Clark County (Las Vegas) - just a few hundred miles south of the test sites. I now live half way across the country in texas and there are more rads here than right next to the tests themselves.

I always remember hearing really bad things happened in southern utah with the tests but i didn't realize montana was hit so hard.

Dinosaurs Died Out Before Man Came Around, Right?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dinosaur#Soft_tissue_and_DNA

One of the best examples of soft-tissue impressions in a fossil dinosaur was discovered in Petraroia, Italy. The discovery was reported in 1998, and described the specimen of a small, very young coelurosaur, Scipionyx samniticus. The fossil includes portions of the intestines, colon, liver, muscles, and windpipe of this immature dinosaur.[45]

In the March 2005 issue of Science, the paleontologist Mary Higby Schweitzer and her team announced the discovery of flexible material resembling actual soft tissue inside a 68-million-year-old Tyrannosaurus rex leg bone from the Hell Creek Formation in Montana. After recovery, the tissue was rehydrated by the science team.[46]

When the fossilized bone was treated over several weeks to remove mineral content from the fossilized bone-marrow cavity (a process called demineralization), Schweitzer found evidence of intact structures such as blood vessels, bone matrix, and connective tissue (bone fibers). Scrutiny under the microscope further revealed that the putative dinosaur soft tissue had retained fine structures (microstructures) even at the cellular level. The exact nature and composition of this material, and the implications of Schweitzer's discovery, are not yet clear; study and interpretation of the material is ongoing.[46]

Newer research, published in PloS One (30 July 2008), has challenged the claims that the material found is the soft tissue of Tyrannosaurus. Thomas Kaye of the University of Washington and his co-authors contend that what was really inside the tyrannosaur bone was slimy biofilm created by bacteria that coated the voids once occupied by blood vessels and cells.[89] The researchers found that what previously had been identified as remnants of blood cells, because of the presence of iron, were actually framboids, microscopic mineral spheres bearing iron. They found similar spheres in a variety of other fossils from various periods, including an ammonite. In the ammonite they found the spheres in a place where the iron they contain could not have had any relationship to the presence of blood.[90]

The successful extraction of ancient DNA from dinosaur fossils has been reported on two separate occasions, but, upon further inspection and peer review, neither of these reports could be confirmed.[91] However, a functional visual peptide of a theoretical dinosaur has been inferred using analytical phylogenetic reconstruction methods on gene sequences of related modern species such as reptiles and birds.[92] In addition, several proteins, including hemoglobin,[93] have putatively been detected in dinosaur fossils.[94]

Leaked Memo: No Parking Tickets For Rich (Just For Poor)

Certainly true in LA. When I used to drive an old 88 Toyota truck, I got pulled over plenty. Several times I got pulled over, and was told I could go as soon as the cop saw that I was white. Since I got my Element two years ago, I've not been pulled over once (except for speeding in Montana, where everyone is white).

OMG I own an Element too! We can be Element buddies cause I love my Element...Mines Red whats yours?

Texas State Board of Education Rewrites History (Religion Talk Post)

Hey, Texas is a big fucking state-We grows some smart motherfuckers here as well-the stereotypical Texan to the Brits and Japanese still involves horses and six-shooters, longhorns and oil derricks. You wanna rip on a state fulla wankers, try Mississippi, Arkansas, West Virginia, Kentucky....fuck, Ever been to Montana or Nebraska?? Central Kansas??

Let's try California-As a transplant to that flaky, fucking wonderland, I encountered day after day after day the most gullible, self-absorbed idgits imaginable, bereft of common sense and practical life skills, with a glazed look in the eyes reminiscent of so many white-tailed deer frolicking on Texas highways with headlights-in-eyes. For christ sakes, they elected a no-acting hack more than once, to govern the motherfucker. Remember Jerry Brown??? Fuck man, Arnold's goddamn family had positions of power in Nazi Germany....real fucking bright those fault-dwellers-Zappa said it best-

"California's got the most of them
Boy, they got a host of them....

"You might call us Flakes
Or something else you might coin us
But we know you're so greedy
That you'll probably join us
We're comin' to get you, we're comin' to get you
We're comin' to get you, we're comin' to get you"

Hannah Montana goes deathcore!!!

Hannah Montana goes deathcore!!!

poolcleaner says...

I would watch this show if Hannah Montana was the lead singer in a doom/death/black metal band -- preferably a black metal band because I would love to see her burn down churches in... wherever in the Midwest she is. (I'm going to assume her last name has nothing to do with location.)
