Lock Him Up Yesterday! - A Randy Rainbow Song Parody

newtboy says...

I wish I believed that was true, but his shallow state has infiltrated our legal system from the bottom to the top. The chances of him seeing prison are near zero, but the chances he’ll be in court the rest of his life are high.

Almost certainly his lackeys will continue to insert themselves and block advancement of the case by any means, just like the Federal judge that, without standing or even service of the complaint demanded the DOJ respond in 3 days to demands for a special master. That’s why he was so focused on installing judges in every vacant spot….he knew they would determine his fate one day. At the least, they will continue to stall and delay, ensuring this case drags on and Trump’s appeals will outlive him. Hopefully that’s enough. Trump won’t have a problem with that, he’ll use it to “fundraise” for a defense that never comes.

Too bad the summary response from the DOJ was essentially “too late, Kate, we reviewed and separated the possible client privilege documents day one, and have reviewed the rest repeatedly now, the point is moot. We know what we seized already.” Trump’s legal team is the bottom of the barrel, only lawyers willing to work for free and destroy their own career stepped up, and they’re the worst team I’ve ever heard of. Amber Heard had better lawyers. 😂

I'm going to have a really big problem with this show if it's in the JJ Abrams style with lens-flare and characters constantly running from scene to scene to instill a sense of urgency, descending into mindless fast-and-the-furious action as the series progresses.

The main character (the one from Walking Dead) is a solid choice, which was necessary in a show that had such strong female leads as Jeri Ryan and the incredible Kate Mulgrew.

The only redeemable part of that shitfest was Kate McKinnon, and probably because her character was so self-aware and 'not-giving-a-fuck' that it made it worth watching for her.

Could also be because I have such a raging crush on her it borders on obsession.

I don't mind if they don't know things, and you're completely right in that I don't know 0.1% of relevant history, be it American, Kiwi or anywhere else.

OTOH, because I don't know said history I don't go around comparing people to historical figures I don't know about.

I wouldn't compare Hillary to Kate Sheppard, for example, because I only barely know who she is.

They don't know because most people don't know most things.

You probably don't know 0.1% of relevant American history (I know I don't). That you happen to have known who Andrew Jackson was is just simple coincidence.

You're very correct about PC not stopping shit (in the context of the USA). They have constitutionally protected free speech so they can say what they want with very few exceptions.
