I finally girded myself and read the babe article. So painful on so many levels.

The one thing that I hadn't read about before was the screenshot of the text she wrote him the next day. She was quoted as saying, in several accounts, that while it might have been fun for him, it wasn't for her. Even in the babe article, it lists her response as beginning that way.

What I don't remember reading anywhere else was this shortened excerpt:

Women need to learn to be more direct and less polite. And we need to train our girls early about their right to speak their truth.

I don't blame Grace for her frozen inaction. She wasn't taught anything different as a child.

My uncle had a very large frozen pond in winter, out back of his house. He used to shovel a skating area with 2-3 foot high berms of snow around it. Then he would hook up a tractor tire inner tube and tow us around with a snowmobile. It was the greatest day when we figured out how to put the tube on the other side of the berm and use the snowmobile to launch us off of the lip. We were thrown so high in the air we felt like we were flying, and only manages to land back on the tube about half the time. Didn't stop us from doing it for hours, despite the impacts.

Frozen banana chunks + chocolate, nuts or berries, or whatever you want, and a drop of vanilla extract. Blend the shit out of it. Best 'ice-cream' you'll eat and you'll lose weight eating it.

It does, unless he already has frozen sperm or kids.

I would think the lava would vapourize the snow and ice within feet of itself, but the frozen comes up right next to the molten.
