Tell you what. There's narily a peep of Australian news in the US media any given day. You don't hear any of the shit f**kery Morrison is doing now in the USA. Ask an American where Australia is in a map, a half of them will point their fingers somewhere near Germany. Or Brazil. Same chance.

I fully support expanding Ukraine’s border 100 miles into Russia to create the kind of “buffer zone” Russia tried to turn Ukraine into. 100 miles of no man’s land, all Russians must move. Ukrainians may settle there. Turnabout is fair play, and they deserve every inch of lost territory.

In a second story today, Russian troops are evacuating the Chernobyl area after poisoning themselves with radiation sickness by digging trenches, driving tanks, and generally disturbing the highly radioactive soil there. Those soldiers are in for a gruesome death, Russia can’t afford to treat thousands of cases of acute radiation poisoning.

In a third report, Putin’s ploy to demand rubles for Russian oil has already fallen apart on day one. They continue to accept euros…euros they can’t transfer to Russia because of banking sanctions!

Tesla made deals to not pay taxes. You can pretend that’s patriotic, it’s not. I didn’t say they ignored or committed fraud to escape taxes, I said they don’t pay them. That kind of agreement shouldn’t be acceptable for any company, especially one as profitable as Tesla. Yes, it’s a “the governor and/or legislature can waive taxes for companies he likes” policy issue, I find it abhorrent no matter which party does it, they both do.

If you backroom deal with right wing governors/legislatures to avoid taxes, you are far right, at least economically. I thought he came out as a Trump guy too, but might be wrong.

So much work and hassle...Wouldn't it be cheaper and faster just to get a new set of replacement pipes? They had to dig it out, cut it out, line it, then put it back in, etc etc. Seems like just replacing with new pipes would be a better process.

You know, I think one of the things I find most consistently funny about Matt and Trey is their weird delivery of certain words / phrases. The clip was only ok, but that "yees" at the end was perfection. Some of the South Park delivery (particularly Cartman) was immediately memorable and caught on / was repeated pretty broadly. Their repeated use of "Derp!" in the largely-forgotten Baseketball was so excellent it ended up becoming a commonly-used word! If you've seen Orgazmo, Trey's "OH?!" in that one gets me every damn time too (and if you haven't seen it and like their general sense of humor, it's fantastic).

I can understand not digging their humor or their beliefs on some topics, but for goofy characterizations they're frickin' amazing.

How many times are you going to try this dishonest lie by omission, because you leave out the southern strategy (actually you just deny it, la la la la la, neverhappened neverhappened, lalalalala), when the parties switched sides on social issues. After the 60's Republicans courted white racist southerners as Democrats supported civil rights for everyone.
Every single klansman today affiliated with a political party chose Republican. Every neo Nazi with a party preference chooses Republicans. Every white supremacist that votes voted Republican. +-8% of "black" voters voted Republican. They aren't as stupid as you think, people know which party doesn't think black lives matter.

This propaganda is technically correct, Democrats WERE the party of racists, but as presented it is a lie by omission, Bob, which is a lie. You know it's a lie too.

Edit: or do I misunderstand you and you post this to indicate the Republican Party is redeemable, just like the Democrats redeemed themselves from their racist, hateful beginnings? Because you are, but you need to reverse almost every position on every issue to get there, and all I see is heels digging in farther and farther on the wrong side of every issue.
