This reminds me of me (and my wife) meeting a girl I know from high school a couple of months ago, and she mentioning I was the last guy from class she would have imagined to ever get married. Which was slightly awkward. Same thing I thought about David Mitchell for possibly different reasons.

Also funnily enough I remember precisely when and where I first met my wife and at the time remembered her phone number, although I am usually hopeless at making social contacts and remembering anything.

Well as David Mitchell says, I believe on death the body should revert to the state. To have its organs harvested, be turned into animal feed, whatever's most practical.

When I see a funeral procession go by I can't help feeling that I've witnessed some creepingly bizarre, atavistic rite. And the resources these superstitious, corpse-fondling indulgences consume! It's enormously and criminally wasteful.

There's a great little bit in the episode with Johnny Vegas (the clip with the strips is from the same episode) where Johnny goes off on one and the camera keeps cutting back to an utterly bewildered David Mitchell. This program is comedy gold and Mitchell is one of the best people on it :0)
