I'm certain this bit of his testimony will turn out to be one of the less damning bits of info about Trump's never ending lies and dictatorial style that will come out of today's hearings, but it is clearly indicative of how Trump operates....which is a mirror of how most dictators operate. Their guy is the best, most trustworthy, intelligent, and honorable person who could hold a position....until that person disagrees with the dictator in any tiny way, then suddenly they're liars, idiots, and traitors that should probably be put to death for treason.

Trump needs Comey to be ignored as a political hack, not listened to as a respected intelligence officer.
This is unambiguously an attempt to convince people of just that...oddly aimed at the left.

The point is to create confusion and distrust among citizens so fewer will call their senator today demanding action against Trump when Comey testifies about things Trump clearly doesn't want him discussing. It's obvious to anyone not wearing rose colored blinders.

This is just political noise. I just don't see a reason for this.

Nope. In America, as you've mentioned before, (for presidents only) it's not the election, but the electoral college that counts. He lost the election, he won the college.

There is tons of evidence that most of his campaign worked with them. Are you saying he's so clueless he couldn't see it, even though it was 100% on his behalf?

"Proof" is a silly word in this context. I have a mountain of evidence of reported contacts by his team that they continue to hide and deny, numerous investigations being interfered with, known foreign agents being given the highest security clearance, and the president just whining "I didn't do it" like a 3 year old covered in ice cream claiming it wasn't them that ate it, while doing everything possible to stop the investigation rather than act like an innocent person and welcome it.

And now we have him inviting Russia into the oval office to plant bugs and celebrate Comey's firing by sharing top level secrets given by Israel with them, Israel's enemy. If there wasn't collusion before, that certainly covers it handily.

They can, because all this reporting, is fake news. All of it. He says it is. Fox says it is. Their church tells them it is. So all this bad stuff about Trump is just a libtard media feeding a bunch of brain dead idiots who believe this stuff.

Now of course all of who actually know how to vet information and the like, know that the opposite is true and that we are in a scary situation, unlike we've ever seen before. The barest hint of this sort of stuff was enough for them to shout "lock her up" about Hillary, but here they are just "fake news!" and continue to believe he's one of the greatest Presidents ever.

It's like they don't get any of it. It isn't firing Comey was bad, it was the timing. Had he waited until after the investigation was over, then it would have been fine, if not great.

Yes, he's allowed to reveal any classified information he wants, though he did complain, during his campaign, about how we can't have somebody in the Whitehouse who can't keep a secret... It's the fact that this goes to the Russians, an enemy of the state at the moment, and the day after he fires Comey, and the fact we were asked not to give up this information, and even our closest allies didn't have it... but it's okay, because he says it is okay and Fox says it is okay, and those are the only truth out there, CNN, and all the major networks are lying and manipulating us according to those on the right.

I'm willing to let the Comey memo go, until it is proven to be true or not, as right now it is more speculation than else, but if it is true, and the Republican Congress refuses to act against Trump for Obstruction of Justice charges... sadly, that bit of news didn't slip until after they recorded this episode.
