Tesla Cam captures INSANE crash

newtboy says...

Logically no matter what it should be truck owner. He/she is responsible first and foremost because proper maintenance is the owner’s responsibility and your wheel coming off is proof of improper maintenance.

If they could prove a shop mounted the wheel wrong….forgot lug nuts, used broken studs, put the nuts on finger tight…they could likely sue, but proving that would be impossible without close up video at the shop of the faulty parts/installation.

#3 is possible, but only after proof of a known design flaw that makes the wheel come off is established. Good luck. This is what Tesla is up against with their self driving software, but only after multiple deaths and many crashes.

Most aftermarket parts have limited liability clauses limiting their liability to replacement of the defective part, not even labor. I know my lift kits had multiple warnings and liability releases in the instructions/warranties. Not total immunity if they intentionally sell dangerously defective parts, but definitely a difficult thing to prove.

I’m not a lawyer, but I have them in the immediate family (grandpa), so I have a little bit of an idea how this usually works in court.

I hope everyone escaped without long term injuries.

I wonder how liability works in a case like this.

Possible scenarios:
1. Freak accident, no one is liable.
2. Truck owner is liable, but only because they modified their car from manufacturer spec?
3. Truck manufacturer is liable, faulty construction?
4. State or federal government is liable because of something in the road that make the truck's tire fall off.
5. After market kit provider or after market kit installer is liable because their modification lead to the failure that caused the tire to come off.

I wonder how it all worked out.

Endurance wreck: Lost ship found off Antarctic

JiggaJonson says...

who decided to film it this way? I dont mean to complain...but i wanted ... idk... to see more of something that would give me a sense of scale of the ship maybe with some close ups where an old timey sailor carved his name into the deck...

Instead its some weird still shots from a distance with slow zoom and i cant fucking hear what the water sounds like because all i can hear is this crazy EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE awWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

That said, I still liked seeing the ship.

Kimbra and Nu Deco Ensemble - Top of the World (Live)

BSR says...

Nice performance but I can't believe the camera guys couldn't get a full frontal close up of the SINGERS FACE! Nice side view close up but that doesn't show full expressions well. Camera guys dropped the ball on that one. Makes her seem secondary to the orchestra.

Norway landslide sweeps homes into sea

Was that one white house built on a raft! Totally refused to succumb.

There was another video taken just before that event showing that area close up. It played after the original.

In the close-up of the carabiners at 1:06, the gates are both facing in the same direction.

When we see them in use (e.g. 1:17 - 1:22, 1:30), they're facing in opposite directions - which, as I understand it, is the correct way to use them as it reduces the risk that an accident (e.g. a falling rock hit, a fall that suddenly stresses the safety line...) opens both at once.

I liked this video, but would have expected a high-safety culture not to show carabiners the wrong way around?

You aren't taking the camera angle into account. You should only see reflections when it's filmed from above or at a distance, not from below or straight on relatively close up. Notice most of the reflections you do see are from buildings in the far background.

Fake cgi. In many shots they forgot to fake-in reflections on the water.

Two Players struck by lightning

lucky760 says...

I find this hard to believe.

I've seen a lot of videos of people catching on video a close-up lightning strike (like in their backyard) and there's always an enormous, deafening explosion sound when the lightning hits, and you also see it.

In this video there's just a flash in the sky and the two blokes seemingly just lay down with a bellyache.

Terminator: Dark Fate - Official Trailer (2019) - Paramount

Sarah Calmer? Wha...?

OK, the calm walking away from large explosions is getting really old.

I'd even bet there is a close up shot of a foot stepping out onto the ground from a car too. Haven't seen that compilation yet.

Antifa thugs behind Andy Ngo disgusting bashing

newtboy says...

No, he's a liar plain and simple and we know it.

That means anything he claims is quite suspect and not to be believed, just like this "attack" he staged.

He may have been attacked, that's what he was looking for, but no one cares because 1) he went there looking for it and 2) his injuries are self reported so quite suspect and 3)he's a known liar who just as likely hurt himself (if he was hurt at all) in order to blame the milkshake throwers.

I watched the video, I saw no "combat clubs". I saw plenty of totally liquid milk shakes with no powder or clumps, so no cement, and the close-up thumbnail that confirms that.

I also saw a known liar and rabble rouser intentionally picking a fight with a known violent gang who hoped to get attacked on camera so he could condemn them, and you bought it hook line and sinker. I think you know it.

Odd, you aren't as upset by the lack of coverage of all the innocent people violently attacked by Patriot Prayer gangs, and there are plenty of them.

Yep He deserved this beat down for pushing such a fake video.

He was wronged plain and simple. And you know it.

This really could use a few seconds of super slow motion close up. I want to see the oil vaporize.

Paint Drying in Slow Motion ( 1000fps )

Many will die shortly

BSR says...

VideoSift blurs the definition of "snuff" for whatever reason. Snuff is murder. Dying in a car "accident" is not snuff, murder.

I could put a slow motion close up video of ISIS shooting someone in the head and make it a documentary but I doubt it would stay up very long. And yes, that is a real video.

Recently there was a video of two young women who were beheaded in Morocco. That video will stay with you for a long time.

https://www.cnn.com/2018/12/29/world/man-arrested-morocco-scandinavian-tourist-deaths/index.html

This was a recording of a homicide that was sent to the families of the victims. Had they distributed it to be sold as entertainment that would make it a snuff film.

I had to look very hard to find the people in this video. It's sad but it is not gore or murder.

I also doubt someone created the landslide in an attempt to kill people and film it for the sole purpose of selling it to those that buy it just to make them breath heavy.

I however think removal of a video like this is a bit much (personal opinion).
