The Census Is Getting Personal

That's pretty much my point, via sarcasm. Also, this is part of a long standing tradition between blankfist and I. I'm trying to bait him into arguing with me, which he knows, which is why he hasn't responded. I don't really think most libertarians are interested in raping the disabled. It's strictly a non-partisan activity that blankfist chooses to do on his own time, and I respect that as a life-style choice.

The Census Is Getting Personal

Okay Jerry Day, I'll take your new turn as a constitutional spokesperson. Jerry Day is actually a singer/song writer I believe.

Explain to me how the government is supposed to frame socio-economic-political policy with no access to data that would create information that would allow that to occur?

Census gathering is a corner stone of government policy around the world, it's like covered in Civics in like grade 8 the reasons behind it seem pretty clear and transparent to me. This just seems like paranoid anti-socialist anti-government shtick to me.

Yes I agree there are infractions in the US with regards to government power but really is fucking Census gathering the most important one? What about corporate lobbying or even worst corporate funding for political parties that was passed through the supreme court.

It's like these people always find the silliest fucking thing to protest about when there are far larger issues to be covered. The most important thing is the lack of any real political oversight between two parties that seem more alike then different in their policies.

Hey, aren't you the guy who always says how great it would be if we had less unionized government employees and more volunteers? This whole libertarian thing is just a scam to rape disabled ladies, isn't it?

This just in, postal workers go on a rampage and shoot people. O wait, that news is a decade old. I guess bat shit crazy is random and unpredictable.

^ Why didn't I get asked the questions he said they would ask me? I feel left out. He did bring up a good point though... what if a hacker finds out how many cars I have?

The census person that came by my place didn't seem very sinister... more like a college student without a steady job, though I'm sure they had been fully assimilated by the NSA.

Did You Know? We are living in exponential times

Can anyone think of jobs that exist in 2010 (in any kind of number, and without being hyperspecific) that didn't exist in 2004? It's just a stupid fact that someone thought sounded good, so they wrote it somewhere - and 10 copies later here it is in a video.
census worker

but yes, most of those statements are highly questionable.
1 billion internet connected device in 2008? seems too low considering all the computers and phones..

What Would You Do? Racism In An Upscale Store

jerryku says...

Meh. Most major cities (like the one in this video) are gentrifying their black populations out of existence anyway. Affordable housing is an oxymoron in big cities like San Francisco, for example.

http://articles.sfgate.com/2007-10-17/news/17267250_1_minimum-wage-california-budget-project-census-bureau

So the whole city of SF is like a store that says "You can't afford to buy that! GET OUT!"

There is some worry that anti-government republican states (yes, I know that's an oxymoron) will lose seats due to a conservative grassroots movement urging people to burn their census forms.

Come on Rove! Do you want smaller government or not?

2010 Census will lead to seized property & code violations?

What I'd like to know, is how the census is at all effective in determining the actual number of people living in a particular household, if certain members of this section of the North American continent are not completely forthcoming with valid information. The fact that certain people have not been completely so forthcoming in past census', is negated even more so, as the citizenship of a larger number of a particular ethnicity comes increasingly more into question.

We can't expect either, that the people prone to robotically play the racist or bigot card when they see a comment like the one above which indirectly implicates Mexican nationals, have any desire to make reasonable adjustments to the current national policy of:

Ignore-fundamental operating principles designed to maintain sovereignty and culture and language as well as enough indigenous enterprise and minds which enable less dependence on outside manufacturing and technologies.

Distract and Misdirect-The masses to be concerned about ancillary issues like whose politics are better, or which stimulus package fucks you the citizen, in the ass more effectively and thoroughly.

Corporitization of the Planet and Concentration of Power-Self-fucking evident and explanatory, to anyone with 2 fucking brain cells who has learned to properly sift through a bombardment information/disinformation.

I would've loved for you to have put some more time in linking evolution, population, and corporate greed. It's an interesting link that I could imagine would take a bit more explanation.>> ^NordlichReiter:
Porksandwich, below is a bit of pessimism and sarcasm.
It's a sick world were companies profit off of survival of the fittest.
I would like to think that the Human Race can surpass that, but probably not. Given the nature of today's world. Money is the root of all evil. The US uses fake paper as it's currency not real monies.
From a science standpoint, I would think that the race would benefit from good health care, but you know how science is seen.
More bad news; according to the US Census Bureau 152,505 people die every day, globally. There are only a couple sure things in life; death, taxes, and becoming a statistic.

I don't like survival of the fittest.
To bad you were born to play the game, we all were.

This mindset is why Evolution has such a bad rap, simply because it is so bleak. That is exactly why it should not be used for profit. Species do not benefit from outright culling, neither do they benefit from outdated practices.

Is it against the law not to participate in the census?

Yes. Every country has this law, including lying about anything asked.

That's what I thought. Shame. There's no excuse to kill anyone. This would've been avoided, however, if it wasn't law to participate. Just saying.
