The president was out of town late Friday until Tuesday. So cocaine was found two days before Joe and Hunter were on site, in a part of the building which regularly hosts tour groups (particularly on weekends), and through which staff frequently transits. I doubt Hunter can time-travel (or has time-traveling cocaine), and if he does then you and I are waaaaay out of our league here - this is superhero business. If I've the basic facts incorrect please do let me know, I didn't spend more than 10 minutes reading up on this.

But, for the sake of argument: let's say the current president's adult son visited during a publicized, well-attended event, and accidentally left some illegal narcotics in a restroom. What would that actually imply, as a worst-case scenario, about Joe Biden? So far as I can tell, it shows he's willing to continue having a relationship with his adult child in spite of that child's known (and perhaps continued) character / behavior flaws. The teachings of Jesus make it clear that we should treat those around us with love, even the very flawed. None of what the news is describing, even as a worst-case, feels like a problem in any way - there are no implications pertaining to public policy, foreign policy, or nepotism. Perhaps there should be legal consequences for Hunter (or whoever left the cocaine there), but it hardly reflects on Joe.

We have never been within four months of this point, and there’s been some amazing money juggling and many projects “postponed” (cancelled) that had won hard fought congressional approval and funding just to stretch our ability to pay debts this far.

We hit our borrowing/debt limit in January, what’s normally considered the “due date”. In the past, negotiations have never come closer than in 2011 when it got to only two days until the debt limit was reached, and it cost well over a billion dollars in higher interest rates alone. We are now over 4 months past that point today, with absolutely no plan on how to move forwards.

This is not normal, has not happened every 4 years, and in fact has never once happened in our history. I expect our national “credit rating” to slip even if we pull off a Hail Mary, which is looking less likely daily. We’ve already lost hundreds of millions in lost international investments because who wants to invest in a country trying to bankrupt itself?

How much has been spent investigating private citizen Hunter Biden? $60 million yet? How many charges? Zero, for ANYONE…unlike the Trump investigations that have ended with dozens of people convicted of hundreds of crimes, many removed from office, and a disgraced ex president facing uncountable criminal charges in I don’t know how many states and federal court and civil rape, libel, slander, fraud, etc cases.
Why is it embarrassing? Because there’s nothing there, and if you saw the “evidence” you might realize that, and realize you had been duped. Well…some might realize that, not you.

What’s great is this precedent, because in 24 when Dems take back the house, the Trump family will be the targets and they absolutely DID use the office of the president for huge personal gains in the neighborhood of $3 billion, selling state secrets for cash…funny enough the number they picked out of thin air to accuse Hunter with no evidence…but the Trump crime family crime spree is well documented and the money actually exists. Going to be FUUUUUUNNNN!
