How To SteamPunk Anything - Nerf Gun

always enjoy these kind of videos. adam savage also has a bunch of great ones on his tested channel, that include a lot of great advice on materials and methods.

one tiny revision i'd offer, would be to include the name of the composer of the score, just ahead of the performer. completely understandable, of course, since you're properly quoting the youtube source description, which didn't include it, so unless you're a classical music fan, you'd never realize.

"Clair de Lune" ("Moonlight") was written by French composer Claude Debussy. Peter Schmalfuss was the performer of this recording.

nice sift! thanks for tossing it up here!

Trapping Burning Gasses With a Thin Wire Screen

oohlalasassoon says...

This reminds me of something that my high school Chemistry teacher told us one day. He told us about how gasses require a certain percentage of oxygen to ignite, so, that if you were to fill up an airtight room with 100% hydrogen, such that no oxygen was present, you could open a door to that room and light a match at the threshold without fear of an explosion. Theoretically the gas in the room would only burn at the door-shaped barrier between the hydrogen and the oxygen on the other side. I remain dubious and I want to see Adam Savage risk his life to bust that myth.

Also, actually related to this video: the guy doing the demonstration,Theodore Gray, has an awesome website if you're into chemistry.

Trainers Hate Him- Adam Savage's Muscle Suit

Sorry, couldn't figure out any channel assignment for this one. If it wasn't Adam Savage, it might be in WTF, but this doesn't surprise me enough. Also, it's not a real body, so doesn't belong in Anatomy. If you watch to the very end, it's funny, but not meant to be Comedy. There is no cosplay channel, or behind-the-scenes channel, it might belong in those if so.
