hard time?? not quite ... there are certain rules for taking photographs or videotaping strangers ... general rule of thumb people may be videotaped without permission.

This may be done if the following conditions are met:

1. The taping is done in a public place.

2. No attempt is made to hide the fact that a recording is being made.

I like how you can tell exactly "what part" of the statue the people were looking at... Eyes glance down and "yup there it is"... look back up at face, "i wonder if it is still showing" Glances down... "yeah there it is" ... Looks back up

Although you often are not allowed to take pictures on private property. I tried to take a picture in a McDonalds in LA and the manager and the assistant manager both came out and told me I couldn't.

They looked like they wanted to rip the film out of my camera.
